A beautiful garden. Lovely in both sun and rain. Take a plastic poncho just in case. We walked it nearly every day for a week whilst staying at Terra Nostra hotel. Every day was a delight. Even better at night in the hot pools.

Great place to relax in the hot springs or walking through the park. Advise everyone to visit! It is a beauty hidden in the middle of nature.

It's hard to find a place to park, so look for street parking in the town nearby. We parked by the church, but plenty of people parked on the road right before you get to the gardens (it's got a stone bridge). Entry fee is...More

Really liked the garden and the pool with 37-38C with my son. The entrance fee is reasonable for what you get. Will go there again...

This garden is absolutely great. It was just 8 euros each and the gardens themselves are actually quite extensive and really nice to walk around. It wasn't too busy and we had a soak in the thermal pools with at most 6 other people with...More

Very beautiful gardens and you can spend all afternoon exploring the extensive network of pathways, but unfortunately we didn't have an umbrella and when the rain got heavier instead of stopping, we had to get out, soaked. There should be some shelters and seats for...More

A big garden of well organised different types of gardens made around certain species or types. Lovely long walk or stroll really with many interesting nooks and crannies . The pools for swimming are famous but not in my opinion the best on the island....More

The gardens are amazing, very beautiful. The pool and both the jacuzzis must not be missed. The water is hot and perfect for a relaxing time.

We stayed at the hotel so had access to the garden the whole time but I think it costs 5-8 euros daily to get in to the grounds and access to the bar and thermal pool. Beautiful place.

No and I echo the issue with discolouration. Take an old beach towel and throw it away when you leave the islands.

We are staying in Ponta Delgada next week, how do you get to Terra Nostra Gardens by Public Transport? We already booked day tours, but we probably want to get back there and spend a day. Thanks.

I'd recommend renting a car as it was inexpensive and provided more flexibility to go to outlook points etc. on route. Have fun it's beautiful!
