Poça da Dona Beija's ferruginous muds are indicated for cutaneous invigoration, and it's hot waters are therapeutic. All the pools have running water which ensures it's constant renewal. We receive tourists from all over the world looking for some...more

Did the walk around the gardens at the terra Nostra. Saw the dark water there with a 100 people or so. Decided to take a pass on bathing there. Instead we walked back up the hill to poca da Dona. I am glad we did....More
39ºC water? Wonderful! Looove it!
The problem is that the "pools" are small and crowded.
I went in late afternoon and left was already dark and it was raining a little! Such an amazing experience!
The hot water felt so god.
Toilets and showers available....More
The.hot springs were a high point of the day as far as I was concerned. We wert and purchased bathing suits so that our good suits we had would not get damaged by the water. However the suit that I got was not affected by...More
My family and I had an amazing experience. At first I was reluctant to get into these 'baths' with strangers but it was a wonderful experience. Everyone is so friendly and the warmth wasn't just from the thermal waters but from the friendly locals too....More

Hi, we were there in March. Although a little busy, it was still very enjoyable. It's such a nice environment that everyone is pretty relaxed. There were a few children there but they all seemed to be on their best behaviour as parents etc were great about keeping them calm and quiet. I think the amazing warm water just calms everyone down. I don't think you'll regret it. But to answer your specific question, i suppose if you were to arrive as early as possible, less people would be around. hope this helps!
