    Great Clean Beach
Lovely beach. Easiest way to get to it is walk past 3GB Guarana and Porto Bay Falesia on your right. Just after Porto Bay take right hand path past mini golf and kids park. Then 100 wooden steps down through sandy car park and you're there. 2 x loungers and a shade for 20 euros for day. Beach bar O Dolfino does bar snacks or sit down meals, accepts card payments and has toilets for all beach users. Nice clean sand and wooden boardwalk.

    Spectacular
My favourite beach in the area. Moving away from the crowded area at the entrance there was plenty of space to feel peaceful vibes. Toilet facilities are very good, cleaned and refreshed regularly. Continue walking past the wooden steps on the left as you leave and you can walk up the albeit step road out instead, it's much easier on the legs after a day of swimming and lying in the heat. There are not many parking places however when something is carved right out of nature consider it a blessing there are any spaces at all ✌️💚🌞

Very good in its own right but truly excellent when combined with the adjoining beaches.
Praia do Barranco das Belharucas refers to the lovely sandy beach accessed via the dirt track road which can be picked up from Rua Nossa Sra de Fatima, or by the wooden pedestrian staircase between the 3HB Falecia Garden and the Porto Bay Falecia hotels. There are two sets of rentable sun loungers ( 20 euros per day for two beds and an umbrella) on the beach and it is supported by two restaurants, the Golfhino and the Mare, but you will need an extensive holiday budget to eat at the latter as it is part of the Pine Cliffs five star resort. Swimming is safe here and the tide goes out a long way, exposing a lot of firm sand, ideal for sand castle building with the little ones. However , for those where the building of sandcastles is a long distant memory the key advantage of this beach is that it joins up with the neighbouring Praia da Falésia and Praia do Poço Velho to form a 5km plus stretch of sand stretching all the way to Vilamoura. This is a fantastic promenade, which the locals undertake in their numbers. One key advantage is the scenery made by the very colourful rock formations of the cliffs that line the beach, shielding the beach goers from the few hotels on this section, which are built back from the cliffs away from view. If you feel like a good walk then you can reach the marina in about an hour and forty minutes of gentle stroll ( less if you are into Nordic walking). One other key point is that there is a large rock on the beach which is exposed at low tide and sticks out the sea at high tide. This is the last rock between this beach and Spain. If you go east from here it’s sand all the way to the border.

A much smaller beach at the end of the long Praia Falesia. It is only at very low tide that you can walk over to Olhos Agua. There are two cafes and at this time of year, the only toilet available at the last cafe. More sheltered and surfers can be found.

Visited this beach with family and friends. Beautiful and clean beach. There is also a small bar where you can buy ice creams or drinks. Lovely view from above as you can also hike. One of the greatest beach around the area.

This beach is 6km long and it changes its name in some parts. Is great for a walk and the water is mostly calm and great for swimming.

Really enjoyed coming down here each day from our hotel. Warm October / November days. Not too many people. Folks enjoying paddling, many swimming, some surfing. You can walk for miles along the coast. I think the beach changes its name as you go further towards Vilamoura.

Both the cafes / restaurants close by the end of October on this stretch of the beach.

We preferred this beach to Falesia beach, it has better facilities, there is more room, the sunbeds are cheaper and the beach restaurant is excellent and reasonable. Not too long walk back to town.

Stunning views and nice, almost rockless beach. Easy to enjoy, also with family. Can be windy at mornings and evenings.

Sand, sea, sand, sea. It’s just one long beautiful beach. The multicoloured cliffs, unfortunately being eroded away with? If you like to beach walk then you will be in your element.
