Steps down to a Lovely clean beach, sunbeds available to rent, small cafe at the top of the steps for re-freshments and toilets. You can walk for miles and miles along the beach. It gets busy but you don't feel crowded in as it's so long.

The beauty of the colours and the variety of the rock formation was stunning, and unspoilt apart from one small section of graffiti, which should... More

Lovely beach area but accessed by a lot of steps so not for the unfit! Bit of a struggle with toddler and buggy but worth the effort as lovely and clean - very enjoyable afternoon.

Nice place easy parking and easy to access. Weather was not so good that day, we could not see much more

It was quiet when we visited but beautiful beach and you can walk to vilamora if you want to. Imagine it might get a bit hectic at the height of the season

Great clean, long beach. Spectacular views both east and west. Cliffs are great to look at and crystal clear water

We stayed in falesia and the beach is outstanding. Very clean and the sea was quite warm when we were there. You can walk to villamoura along the beach too.

We stayed for 3 weeks, knowing that we would have our daily exercise practically (and literally) at our feet: Seven kilometers of sand to the east, two kilometers to the west! The tide made every day different; at high tide we had but a few meters between the water and the sea; at low tide we had a regular highway.... More

I could never work out whether the tide was in or out.to say, there's always beach and it's one of the best.very clean, well maintained with bars (albeit slightly overpriced ) dropped along it. Well worth a visit just for the beach.

Always lovely to walk along this beach and look up at the impressive red cliffs alongside it. Also walk up on the cliffs and enjoy some great views.
