Amazingly beautifull beach, but....with some noise from the boats coming and going to the Vilamoura marina.

Lovely place to explore and enjoy sunbathing. The beach is really long and is really good for walking too.

Spent a day on this beautiful beach. The sand was fine, Sun lounges available for hire, good beach restaurant with good toilets open to the public. The red sand cliffs make a stunning backdrop.

very clean beach, there are life guards along most of the beach, with a few cafes/bars also. It has a wild life area along the beach also which you can use the designated path to walk through.

Stroll down stairs after dinner. Was a lovely golden beach at the end of the wooden stairs. Very pretty and happy to go back

The cliff walk is stunning - around 1.5 hrs to the next village and the beach is lifeguarded and clean. Can rent sunbeds and many bars / restaurants dotted along the cliffside. Expansive so never feels overcrowded.

Beach was undergoing heavy reconstruction when we went but still had a good time. We weren't to disturbed. Write big waves which were fun. Not too crowded.

The nearby Falesia beach is miles long and very deep when tide is out so there should be plenty of room, although we haven't been in August. Albufeira is much more crowded anyway, even out of season. Hotel has shuttle bus... More
