Lovely beach-steps to access the beach

Lovely clean beach, however there must be at least 50 steps to access this. One cabin for food and drinks, therefore can be busy. Life guards seem friendly enough.

Beach gets very busy especially when the tide comes in, get there early to establish your spot if you wish to spend some time on the beach. Don't be surprised in the locals come and sit right next to you, something to do with the culture about being friendly. Watch the tide as it comes in quick. Lots a shops... More

Falesia Beach stretches as far as the eye can see. The best spot is at Altamar, where there is a handy little bar

Great sand beach with beautiful view along the cliffs. Lots of ppl around the stair access pints, but it´s easy to find a little more privacy if you´re ready to walk a bit along the beach

A stunning beach with an amazing backdrop. Quite breezy and often with strong waves. At high tide the sea gets deep very quickly so not ideal for small kids. Fantastic for water sports. We loved it.

Mar simplesmente fantástico, paisagem soberba e cheia de cores magníficas. Vou lá todos os anos. The sea is just fantastic and the views are superb and full of magnificent colours. I go there year after year.

There is parking in side streets that seem to be a part of apartments but no one really checks. It gets quite busy. There are quite a few steps to get down to the beach, especially with a stroller, 3 bags and a baby. Hut rentals available. One cafe just before going down the stairs. The shore area is great... A large beach with soft sand, and activities including pedalos and jet skis for a very reasonable price. The sunsets were also beautiful.

5 couples collectively selected this hotel to celebrate a birthday milestones because of the variety of things to do in and around that hotel. The hotel is located on a cliff which gives stunning views of the ocean, the endless beach, and some great sunsets. To get to the beach - you can either walk down the trail (10 minutes... More
