Long walk down many steps to get to beach which has one of two restaurants, one was closed but the other is well appointed.

The beach is awesome, laden with a carpet of shells, clean with plenty of lifeguards. A great place to sit and reflect on life!

Beautiful and clean, stretches on for as far as the eye can see. Sunbed and parasols can be hired. Chance of seeing dolphins if visiting in the right season and beautiful views from the clifftops

We went down to the beach for an afternoon and had a fabulous time playing in the sand and making sandcastles. The waves were a little too big for our girls but they are very young. There were plenty of children playing in the sea...More

We found this gem on our 3rd day in the area and fell in love with it. Beautiful, soft sand, flat beach.

This beach had everything. Walking distance to other towns. The cliffs give a great backdrop for incredible photos. We had a villa right on the cliff above the beach and every morning started with a walk on the beach. You can walk for hours.

Great safe sandy beach, with reasonable access. A great place to relax and while away those sunny Algarve days.

Lovely clear sandy beach wich runs between albufeira and villarmora .we walked down a wooden stepped terrace stairway which was ok for us but some people might have a problem with. Lovely coloured sandstone cliffs .beach nice and clean and waters are perfect for bathing.

Wonderful beach goes on as far as the eye can see. Not easily accessible for the elderly or infirm but must be worth a visit. Such a terrific photogenic place.

the parking area is to the mid/south side of the beach and runs close to the edge. In places you can get to the edge, but it is bare earth, no boardwalk
