Lovely beach, beautiful waters and stunning scenery. There are cliff-like rises surrounding the beach and they're beautiful. The beach is remote enough on the right to enjoy a peaceful afternoon in the sun yet close enough to bars and restaurants, literally up the steps, to stay there throughout the day. Beautiful clear waters and amazing views from the hills
Second visit to this beach having very easy access from centre of village. We walked to the right of the beach for a few minutes and found a quiet spot to sit and relax. Passed by a couple of beach restaurants right on the beach along the way.
We generely go in late april as its not to busy. the beach is not large ,to the right there is rock pools. some people walk to Vilamoura or to albafera, about 2 to 3 miles away. thre are cafes, shops , bars toilets all very close by.. As for Olhos de agua is a lot cheaper than vilamoura and... More
Not a large beach, but as it's almost hidden away there weren't that many people there when we visited. Lovely rock formations carved out in the middle to form holes, they are great for kids to explore.
Beautiful beach, spotlessly clean. You can sit and take in the view or walk for miles all the way to Villamora if your up for it. Not yet a built up area like the New Town of Albufeira. There are some shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs - just enough!!
Are you saying that the beach is a steep hill away from the village where the shops/ bars and restaurants are? Would you be better staying in the village or at the apartment block overlooking the beach? Does the bus service leave from th ebeach or from the village?
