I visited on a trekking program of the Croatia tour. Upstream, the waters of Lake Kožak flow into Lake Milanovac, but the Ranovac falls act like a weir. It is about 10m tall but forms a wide waterfall, which splits into several lines and flows down to create a white plume. The wooden path leads from the top of the waterfall to the other side, and you can see the active waterfall flowing almost directly below. It is one of the only waterfalls in the Prithwitze group.

As it was just the end of the winter period, we could only view these falls from the higher path as the lower board walks were still covered in snow and not safe for visitor access. Still, these falls were very impressive and beautiful to see even from a distance. I'll use this as an excuse for another holiday to come back and visit when the park is fully open and you can view these from the lower areas. Still, these falls were a highlight of trip.

Pretty like the other waterfalls in the park, and worth admiring on any visit to the Lower Lakes (most easily accessed by Gate 1).

It is mind boggling that one national park could have so much beauty. The waterfalls are spectacular. I recommend making the complete circuit and seeing the entire park. It is definitely worth it.

Take your time and don't let yourself get bothered by how many people are here - it's peaceful even with the tour bus crowds! .Wear good shoes - it can be slippery on the paths.

Milanovacki Slap refers to several small but wide waterfalls on Milanovac Lake, which is the southernmost of the Lower Lakes in Plitvice Lakes National Park. We passed by it during a hike and it was worth seeing.
