I visited this place as part of a trekking program on a Croatia tour. As you descend the canyon from Entrance 1 while looking at the Plitvice Waterfalls, an emerald-green lake surface appears on the left. The lake is located at 506 meters above sea level at the bottom of the Lower Lakes. At the steepest point of the canyon, it is surrounded by cliffs over 40 meters high. If you go to the right, you will come to the Plitvice Waterfalls, and a boardwalk runs along the right side of the lake towards Lake Kozjak P3. The waters of Lake Kardjerovac flow into the Korana River via the small lake below, Novakovica Brod.

Pretty as the rest of the lakes that comprise Plitvice NP. Most easily accessible from Gate 1, as it's in the Lower Lakes section--near-ish to Veliki Slap (the tallest falls in the park).

This lake is basically the lowest in the park, and was my favorite in terms of the color of the water we saw there. Maybe it was the time of day (we reached it about 9 AM), but it had a lovely blue/green color and was still enough to provide reflections.

This is among the larger lakes at Plitvice and like the others, the water is stunningly beautiful and well worth a visit.

The Kaluderovac jezero belongs to the group of Lower Lakes in the Plitvice Lakes National Park. It is the second lake when you come from entrance 1 after the Novakovića Brod.
