Homage to an opera singer

Named after a famous opera singer from back in the day, this waterfall is nice b/c you walk right over it, though it's smaller and therefore somewhat less spectacular than quite a few of the other falls in Plitvice.

It's in the Lower Lakes section--or maybe where the Lower Lakes meets the Upper Lakes--so most easily accessed by entering Gate 1, walking down the path, and then meandering along the boardwalk until you're there. Conversely, if you take the long ferry ride from Gate 2, you'd have a relatively short walk from where you'll debark the ferry to here.

Clear beautiful water and sky

Water so clear the fish are easily seen. Pathway is about 3 people wide with walking in both directions. A few people also have dog on leash even large dog or a baby stroller. No guard rails do be careful.

Do The Entire Park

I have no idea how many lakes and falls there are in this park but they are incredibly spectacular all together. Take your camera and comfortable walking shoes

Lots of falls and lakes

Must be 8 levels of falls. Beautiful water, clear and full of trout. Excellent hiking path for 3 miles. Use bus to top....start 1/2 way no need to go to top, same views but better on lower half unless you enjoy hiking. Boards are tough to see, watch your step.
