I got to know Petar in Greece last summer, taking my first kite lessons. I followed their kite camp to Vietnam and had a great time there. They helped a lot with everything from transportation in Vietnam to finding a good accommodation and organized a trip to Phan Rang for a couple of days kiting there.
Petar is a very relaxed guy never stressing about anything during lessons and has a lot of knowledge and gives a lot of tips to improve your kiting.
He takes his time, not pushing you when you are a beginner and also on a later stage always has some advice what to change and how to improve your riding. Both of them are great riders them self so you can be sure they know what they are talking about and for sure can help you improve your riding, no matter how good you are.
Dean and Petar are two very relaxed guys while hanging out with them after a day of kiting, showing everybody some local restaurants and places, on days where there is no wind offering some wave riding and so on, so you are never bored they will take care of it.
I recommend their kite Camp very much if you want to have a good time learning how to kite or already know how and just improve it.
I will for sure go again to another kite camp somewhere in the world with them to go kiting and just have a good time.

I finished 12 hours course with them and after that I was able to kite on my own! During the course I felt very safe, no matter if there where big waves or strong wind. Their instructions are detailed and clear with a lot of understanding and patience. Equipment that they use if definetly the best that you can find around, it's completely new and from brands like North, Duotone, Ion, Mystic etc. The atmosphere and how they treat you as a student is so friendly and warm. I came to them as a student and when I left Mui Ne I felt like I have good friends for the rest of my life.
After I finished the course I stayed at their kite center for 1 month more. I was kite surfing every day and after every session they gave me advices about how to ride better, how to do turns, how to start from the beach etc. In the beginning I had many situations in which I lost my board or had to quick release the kite – they where there to help me every time! They really cared about me and my safety no matter that i finished my course and was an independent kite surfer! This was very important to me, because I saw in other schools when you finish the course they don't care about you any more and you are on your own!
Also they organized for us kite surf trip to Phan Rang which is located 2 hours ride from Mui Ne where we have been kiteing for 3 days in beautiful lagoon with flat water and perfect wind. They helped us with motorbike rental and taxi pick up at Ho Chi Minh Airport. They showed us all of the beautiful places around Mui Ne, cheap restaurants with the best food, where to exchange our money, where to find a good acommodation – just everything.
There is no way that I can express my graditude for everything that I have learned from them. This kind of experience and knowledge you gain is priceless.

First time trying to kitesurf and I couldn't have chosen a better place do to so. The environment was great and friendly. Petar (my instructor) had all the patient and energy in the world. He made it really fun to just keep trying no matter what. The equipment was in perfect conditions and all in all the staff was great. Really can't wait to try it again.
I would definitely recommend this Camp for people on every stage of their learning process, since I could see how my more skilled friends were also improving and enjoying it.

I was on my solo backpack trip in Vietnam, stayed in Mui Ne for three days. Nothing much to do in town but this surfing experience was certainly a blast and I am so happy that I chose to learn surfing with them.
I had three classes in total, after the first one I was able to ride on small waves with certain help, and for the rest of the classes I was taught to be more independent. I know it might be very much basics but it was a lot of fun! and was a great start of a new sport for me.
I had classes with both Dean and Petar, both of them are very professional and encouraging! I feel safe all the time when surfing with them, and they really gave me confidence to push forward.
I think what makes surfing with them special is that they are actually the people who are really passionate about the things they are doing. They are helping you to engage in this sport and to know more about it, instead of just a come and go tourist activity. Also as it’s running in a relatively small scale, it could give you more of a personal experience. They are close to local surf community, and as they are doing this all around the world, I believe they’ve had much experiences with different conditions. If I would do surf/kitesurf again next time, I’ll definitely choose them! All in all, I highly recommend learning with Dean and Petar, best instructors!

Great school, with great, from start to finish, dedicated instructors. Calm, always smiling, ready to explain whatsoever and give the right advice. Motivated in what they do, and ready to share knowledge even with people not being their students anymore.
When Dean teaches you, you feel completely safe, with the proper advice in the right moment.
The school is equipped with the high class "Duotone" kites and other top of the notch equipment being "ION" and "Mystic".
With all this said, I think we are very privileged having a school such as "Kite Camp Istria" with excellent instructors, and most of all, good people like instructor Dean.
When Dean teaches you, you feel completely safe, with the proper advice in the right moment.
The school is equipped with the high class "Duotone" kites and other top of the notch equipment being "ION" and "Mystic".

Fabelous Tim, always on disposition and proactive, full of heart and wanting to help. We came in Vietnam for kitesurfing. They gave us all the informations wich made our stay joyful, economic and easygoing. We took surfing lessons for the first time and in half an hour were catching our first waves...realy incredible. I would highly recommend Kite Camp Istria to anyone.

This is simple to lay down : 1) we are not very talented so we need a very patient and good teacher 2) We’ve been learning kite surf for 4 years now (not very lucky with the wind) so we experienced not less than 6 different schools and around 10 instructors. By far Petar and Dean are the best instructors we had : pointing immediately to the hurdles you encounter and the mistakes you do. Besides the school has perfect and up to date material. In Vietnam, Greece or Istria we’ll not hesitate to take our next lessons with them

Kiting with Petar and Dean is the BEST! Always a very relaxed and top organized thing! It's just always great fun with them! They are honest, fun and always concerned about the well-being of everyone. You feel completely comfortable and in good hands.
They organized the hotels and the kite equipment in Croatia and Vietnam including bus transfer. Everything was well organized and worked out reliably.
I was very lucky learning to kite with Petar last year and it was super awesome. Petar is super patient, always motivating and positive, and is responsive to the personal learning pace. And he is always very happy when someone did a new step forward. I always felt save and relaxed and it was so great fun learning with Petar.
Even if you don't "learn" anymore, both of them giving tips and tricks for riding technique or equipment all the time.
Kiting with KiteCamp Istra was great and relaxed. So many things to do in Croatia beside kiting - they know the best places and activities to do!
My husband and I are looking forward to go on an organized kite trip with Dean and Petar as soon as possible or visit them in Istria again – for us they are not kite trainers any more, they become friends.

I always knew the risks of kitesurfing and I have seen a lot of bad videos with "kitemares" before. Still, I decided to take a chance. From the first day, first lessons ,my first kite flying, Petar and Dean made me fill very confident and safe very quickly with their smooth way of teaching. You get the right tips with small details at the right time which make you progress instantly. Other then lessons they are very cool guys to have fun in the free time as well so you won't be bored. To conclude i'm was very satisfied with the way they taught me kitesurfing. Very very happy with the sport and I recommend Petar and Dean to everyone. 🤙🤙

I had lessons with Petar , I had already some experience but would define myself still as a beginner. I immediately felt safe with him because of his focus on all the safety procedures, and he was by far the best teacher I ever had. He ade me feel confident on the water, was very patient and most of all wanted me to have a lot of fun. Highly reccommended!!!
