Muria Centre Interpretació Apícola is a museum located in El Perelló, a little town in Terres de l'Ebre Region, in the South of Catalonia. Here there is a very interesting museum about the honey and the life of bees, and a shop with a a lot of different products with honey, which you can taste. A very nice visit for adults and children. Also, it is possible to go to see beehives in the land, pitifully, when I arrived the daily's visit was done. Next time.

This was a very interesting visit. There is an audio visual display and a film, explaining the history of bee keeping and the working of a hive. Also got to see the factory and a glass room with a working live colony of bees. It is possible to put on protective clothing to visit the hives, but you must phone to make an appointment. This is not available in May due to the large number of school tours. There is a lovely shop where the various honeys can be bought, and a wide variety of health food products, cosmetics and vitamin products. A very interesting afternoon isit. Allow at least 1 hour for the film and tour.

Staying nearby with two kids - 18 and 10. Both found the place very interesting we took the full tour. We had a great time and learned loads about honey bees and how important they are. The store is great and we were able to try honey from many areas. Highly recommend this place. Tour and shopping took an hour and worth it. The tour guide spoke English very well and was great with the kids. Thanks

First we entered the shop to find a huge honey fountain and a swarm of real bees! Then we entered the museum, after a great video explaining everything you need to know about bees and bee products, the museum was fascinating, with history of beekeeping, how bees work, and a guided tour of the factory, after we put on a beekeeping suit and the guide took us to see beehives out in countryside!! To see the bees working was fantastic!
