This place is fantastic, despite its unlikely location at the bottom of an unattractive block and next to some empty shops. Staff show you the catch of the day. The chef cooks it to perfection. He gave us the choice of tasting our way through much of the menu. So we did. The wine is very well priced, and of excellent quality. It would be hard to imagine much better fish and seafood, and the contrast with the location could hardly be greater. Go!

We visited after reading good reviews on TA. What a find! The exterior is drab and the setting is not the finest. The interior isn't up to much, for that matter. However the food.... Oh, the food! Fresh fish cooked to order. Simple - monkfish tail with potato and a soup of herbs and a hint of saffron. Absolutely fantastic. As a foodie who is an accomplished cook I look for places like this but rarely find them. The terrible shame was that there were few people in - probably because of exactly where it is ( we were in two minds at first to be honest). All I can say is, put your reservations to one side and experience it. ( And no, I have never met then before!)
