Great lessons and bar/ restaurant
Sep 2020 • Family
We visited here during our stay at Centerparcs. Our boys (12 & 9) have never skied before so we booked a beginners group lesson but now wish we’d booked the midweek package. The instructor Janneke was enthusiastic and fun. It was a quiet week so no other customers - they basically got a private lesson. She built their confidence up so that after just one hour they could traverse (tentatively) from the top all the way down the beginner slope. Great value for money, really recommend.

We had dinner in the restaurant overlooking the slope which I think is a really cosy place. The pizzas and burger were great. One meal wasn’t good but this was refunded when I explained the problem - really good service.

Overall - great value with fabulous staff, would definitely go again.

Great lessons
Aug 2020 • Family
I’ve taken my kids to UK snowdomes and I didn’t really think much of the lessons. Although in fairness they were group lessons with 6+ others in the group.

My daughter (6) had a group beginner ski lesson, she was the only one in the group so basically private. She went from never wearing skis before to skiing down the main slope unaided after x3 1 hour lessons. She loved her instructor too!

My son (7) wanted to snowboard but was too young to go into the group lessons so he had private sessions. He’d had a lesson in the UK a few months prior and said he hated snowboarding it was boring, hated the instructor and hated me ha. Such a change when he came out of Montana, he was jumping around like a lunatic and couldn’t wait to get back in there for his next session! He was also going down the main slope linking turns by the 3rd day!

Both of them are in love with their chosen sports!

I had a quick recreational session myself, bit icy at the top of the slope, but otherwise reasonable snow condition.

The bar is also nice ;)

A mixed bag
Feb 2020
I booked my daughter ski lessons for a beginner, the weekend package. The instructor Anouk was amazing with her and she was weaving her way down the lesson slope from the top by lesson two.
I booked the weekend snowboard lessons for me. Day one (15th Feb 5.15pm), young instructor - great with the whole party. Day two (16th Feb same time), miserable as sin instructor, gave me one 'tip' the whole time (was better with others), a total air of arrogance about him and if I knew I was having him for another lesson I would have asked for my money back, or change of instructor.
I think he is an exception as all the other instructors seemed lovely. This one was clearly a very competent snowboarder but with his head firmly up his backside.
Food is slow upstairs but very nice.
The only other thing they could get better at is the people giving out the equipment. Obviously everything to them is very 'obvious', but it is not to a beginner - and a bit of patience and clarity would not have gone amiss.
I wouldnt be coming back, as its unlikely I'd come back to this centreparcs, but as a one off its fine.

Great staff and amazing value for money
Oct 2019
We booked 3 x 1 hour ski lessons for our 9 year old son who had never skied before as part of our holiday at Center Parcs de Kempervennen and at 77€ it was the best value for money.

From the moment we arrived at the Centre, the staff were helpful and welcoming and the quality of the kit we hired for just 10€ was great.

The ski instructors were all really friendly, great with the kids, all spoke English and were very patient with the first timers which as parents, gave us confidence.

We watched all the lessons from the very comfy bar and only wished we had planned our time so we could have enjoyed a meal there too as the food looked as good as the drinks.

Overall, the skiing was the highlight of our holiday at de Kempervennen and we would return purely based on the quality and great value of the skiing alone.

Great beginners ski lessons
Oct 2019 • Family
Our kids completed the mid week beginners ski package (1-hour ski lesson for 3 days). They really enjoyed it and progressed well. Ski instructors were very friendly and it was easy to find the centre and get the boots / skis / hat fitted. 20 mins easy drive from Centre Parcs de vossemeren so no need to stay at the Centre Parcs on site.

Brilliant centre, something for all
Aug 2019
Having purchased a three day pass durning our stay at centre parcs de Kempervennen, we enjoyed the freedom of the main slope for a couple of hours each visit. The day passes had unlimited access, which offered the ability to ski morning and night on the same day.
The slope was not crowded and the kids grew in confidence each day. The staff were friendly and helpful. The kit provided is to a good standard. We took our own clothing equipment as there is additional costs for this.
The bar / observation area is clean and tidy and the atmosphere is chilled as you would expect for apres ski. The food from the kitchen was excellent and served in good time.
A recommended place to visit for all beginners to learn the basics and for the experienced to perfect their skills.

3 hours skiing - want to go again!
Aug 2019 • Family
The ski center can be used by guests staying at The Centre Parcs site, Kampervennen which is where we were.

Good facilities, fairly decent upstairs bar so family members and friends who aren't skiing can watch those who are and laugh when they fall (as my wife did).

Instructors were helpful and attentive, staff friendly and overall we had a good experience.

Sledging
Aug 2019 • Family
We (2 adults, 1x 14 yr old and 1x12yr old) did sledging on our last day staying at centerparcs (none of us ski). Pre-booked direct with the ski centre and hired ski suit and boots each (took our own winter waterproof gloves from home) roughly £16 each. Had an hour on the slopes and it was full of laughter. Also had dinner afterwards which was lovely and good value.

Great fun for the family
Aug 2019 • Family
My family visited the snowcenter and had an amazing time.
The tuition was basic and centered around the weakest people in the group therefore leaving the better members of the group to look after themselves.

There are 3 small jumps on the larger slope, the family loved these !

All equipment provided and was in good condition.

The day pass for the snowcenter was reasonable value, I would probably swerve the tuition and go for the day / afternoon pass.

The restaurant in the snowcenter was great. Nice and warm serving a variety of food and drink. A large draft layer was €5. A pizza was €8.50.

The restaurant and bar provided great viewing of those skiing.
