About
About our technology: To ensure highest quality we handpick our grapes. Thanks to the cooled, stainless steel tanks technology, after the squeezing the fermentation happens directionally. We cool the stum on 10 Celsius than we separate it from the lees. We start the fermentation with yeast which than happens on 17 Celsius. We have increased our processing and storage capacity which means that the Geszler Winery is now capable of making 1800 hl both commercial quantity reductive and traditional (oak barrel aged) wine. We perform the bottling on our own bottling production line. The peculiar, distincive Geszler Winery wines are the result of the traditional, delicate hand-harvest, the rapid processing on the modern production line and barrel-aging.

While spending a holiday in Székesfehérvár in May of 2021, I had some of the Mámór Móri Ezerjó at a bonafide Mexican restaurant in the city center, and have to say it was the best wine of this variety that I have ever tasted. I drove to Mor on a Sunday and found the winery open due to a local holiday event, and was able to purchase several bottles and took a short tour of the facilities. I was just as impressed with the operation as I was with the quality of the wine. My only regret is that I can't find a retailer here in Texas...

Geszler Family Winery is one of the best wineries in the famous Mor Wine Region. The winery provides great atmosphere and hospitality. The winery has multiple award-winning wines and you can taste them along with delicious food. Also there is a tour to the beautiful cellar with a nice presentation of the wine-making process as well. It's been a great experience not just about wine tasting but learning about the history of the region and its friendly people. Highly recommended.

Not many people have heard of the Mor wine region abroad, and this is not surprising. The local varieties (like ezerjo) don't usually make great wine, though in recent years there have been some good developments. One such example is the Geszler Winery. Almost all their wines are reductive and many have gathered national and international acclaim: their 2015 MáMór Chardonnay was judged by VinAgora to be the best varietal white wine in Hungary. One must taste this along Vértes kincse and zenit as well, while children will love the untranslatable play on word "Mustlica" grape juice. The price/value ratio is extremely good, but helas, not every member of the family is polyglott!

We were participating a wine tasting event with pleasant athmosphare. Our hosts were really nice, patience and helpful, while they were perfectly prepared. All of the wines were tasty and the place was pretty nice (both inside and outside), which able to accept bigger groups. I suggest to visit this Family Winery.

I popped in on my way to Tata, to try some famous wines ...The Geszler Winery is one of the oldest in the region and they are open most days. 2 cellars catering from simple wine selling to wine tasting and entertainment for bigger groups. I liked the region's favourite wine the" Mori Ezerjo" but my favourite wine was "Zenit" which is a medium dry white wine (won 3 gold medal last year). The service was very friendly, the tasting was generous... the cellar/building is beautiful and have a great atmosphere with the huge black and white photos, picturing the "good old times" around Mor.

Thank you very much for your kind evaluation. We are so happy to like our wines. Móri Zenit (2012, 2013 half-dry) white wine has become cellar favorite among the guests.
Now most proud of the Móri ezerjó – Thousand Good of Mór (2013 dry), Móri Királyleányka (2013 dry) and Móri Chardonnay (2013 dry) wines are: the National Wine Competition hungaricum the two types of silver medal, Chardonnay won a gold medal. It is a great honor for us.
We used to say to guests: Visit us and take the fame of the wines of Mór with You. Our family hope you will be our guest again. :-)
