We went there on a Saturday morning. It is about half an hour by car from Athens. The collection is really amazing if you are interested in archaeology. All objects are clearly described and in contrast to most other archaeological museums in Greece you have the impression that the exhibition is following a concept. Besides the museum you can visit the site with the remains of an Artemis temple in a natural environment.

Small but very interesting museum where you can spend a surprising amount of time! It has plenty of parking space and is very cheap. Worth visiting together with the temple of Artemis if you are in the area.

Augusts full moon made us go to this place , the museum was open that day in the evening and there was a festival in the archaeological site. This way we learned about this beautiful museum and the interesting collection. The site has wonderful ruins from the temple of Artemis.

Went to this site purely to see the museum on a university trip thinking the main site was closed. The museum itself was well set out and easy to follow through and see the different types of artifacts found at the site. The museum staff were very informative as well. Though the best part of the site was actually gaining access to the temple of Artemis Brauron now that the public are allowed access. Highly recommend going in to get a close up look of what remains of the temple.

Before visiting the archeological site I advise to visit the museum first. This museum looks to be recently modernized. The artifacts are displayed nicely. They have a great collection.

There's not much left at the archaeological site of Brauron but the site museum is very good. The exhibit features a good collection of pottery and sculpture, all excavated at the site.

An amazing scenery of temple of Artemis (Diana) and a small museum with many artifacts and pieces of art. You really travel back in time.
The ticket is 6€ and for kids was free entrance. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there were detailed descriptions in both english and Greek.
Just take some water or snacks with you cause there is nothing nearby to buy.
