We came here to "kill some time" before our departure flight later on that day and enjoyed the habitation very much. The place offers an interesting mix of botanical garden, sculpture park, industrial museum and historic mansion. Glad we went but I wouldn't make it a must-do.

We were looking forward to a look at a French Colonial period plantation house. Unfortunately we got a overlong tour of a rum distillery instead. There were lovely gardens with sculptures, as well as an art gallery. Sadly, we had no opportunity to enjoy them because of the undue focus on the distillery.

We enjoyed walking around The grounds are beautiful, weather was perfect. We found it very interesting and made for a nice afternoon activity after s day at the beach. The rums were great and the people i the the tasting area were super nice. Overall it's a very beautiful place and the art that they have included is an excellent... More

All has been said already by previous reviewers. Lots of things to do, see and learn about in a beautifully maintained former distillery. Well worth the 12 Euro fee. The selection of rums and punches to taste and buy at the end of the tour was very good. Shame the place does not have a small cafe!

This is not your typical Brewery or winery tour and tasting. It's much more. For a fee of 12 Euros/adult, you'll follow a path around the grounds to see both art, distillery process and storage and the house and living quarters of the owners. If you've got a Fitbit, you'll likely get all your steps in by the time you... More

Charming colonial plantation home but the sculpture gardens adjacent were the cat's meow! The pond setting with huge metal sculptures surrounding it were magical.

My wife and I went as part of a tour group and the admission fee was included so I will not address the pricing rather simply say that we enjoyed our time there.

We didn't take the tour as it was 2 hours long but it seemed popular. We had a rum tasting and ended up buying some rum to take home. It was a nice stop.

For 12 euro we were able to spend about 3 hours on the grounds. There was a sculpture garden on the grounds, which was expertly curated. The free audio guides gave tons of information about the grounds and the botanicals, but not of the sculptures which was a bit disappointing. The signs around the self-guided tour route were a tad...
