Really enjoyed our visit to Clement House distillery it was much more than we expected after reading up. Certainly worth the 13€ as you can easily spend 2 hours + wandering around the gardens and learning about rum production and history of Martinique. You can walk thorough he plantation exploring area such as the huge rum storage rooms, animal mill,... More

We took the tour of Habitation Clement and it was beautiful! The botanical gardens with the variety of palms and sculptures are a sight to behold on their own. It was very intriguing getting to tour the old rhum distillery and see the historic buildings. At €12.00 per person it is a fair price considering the 45 - 60 minute... More

This was a very worthwhile tour. Although no longer an active distillery the old buildings are preserved as a museum. The warehouses still age casks from elsewhere. The audio guide really helpe explain all this. The gardens and the house are the real stars. Included is an audio visual recounting a Franco-American summit that took place between Mitterand and Bush.... More

Had a great morning here- wish I had more time to visit the modern art gallery- don't miss this. The rum is very strong in the tasting room- worth tasting a few. The gardens are beautiful!

Clement offers a roundtrip to watch the old production-line, but also shows the old home of the original creol owner. Nice to get a feeling of how it used to be living back then with the typical furniture and so on. There's also a shop where you can taste different kinds of rum and, ofc, buy some. Quite cheap considering... More

If you visit the habitation Clement, you will feel living history at its best. Every details seems to be like in former times, but you have the impression that colonial era is still there. Nice place to learn about history for scool and teenage kids.

There is many "habitations" to visit in Martinique, most of them either ron distilleries of Banana farms. This one is among the oldest with many things to visit: The house, the garden (arboretum), the "Chais" and the old distillery. You also can taste the various ron varieties at the end of the tour (but if you taste more than 2,... More
