Great views of the port, the sea, and the mainland across. Watch the ships come in and out. Gets crowded only when the day-trip tourist ship comes in, but fortunately they only spend a few minutes then they're off to another site!

When visiting Hydra this is a short walk up a small hill from the harbor. The old cannons make for a great picture and it's a beautiful vista point as well.

This was a four-star attraction—until I learned that Maouli's bones are encased in the concrete of the monument's pedestal--that's worth another star for sure!
