The small island of aegina which is only 1.5 hours away from Piraeus is a very popular and beautiful island of Saronic golf. It provides excellent service to tourists regarding hotels, restaurants, sea taxis and night life. You may buy perfect local products made from the famous aegina pistachio and this is a trip you never forget.

We took a day long island cruise to Hydra, Poros and Aegina. Hydra was beautiful and unusual. Poros was quaint and Aegina was bustling and picturesque. The boat was crowded but the lunch served was excellent. it was a very long day with some swells and diesel fumes making it seem longer. Pack a light jacket as it got cold on the return trip.

it is a nice Cruise if you stay in Athens more than two day
cost is very competitive close 50 euro per person with meal including in prices
it is little early morning sail 0800am and return 1900pm
thats mean you have to wake up at least 0630am and return at hotel 2000pm
to have enough time for breakfast in hotel and transportation time to port
i think after acropolis museum tour is the second interesting day tour around Athens

We were in Athens for just three days in April 2014 where we had decided to spend a day touring Acropolis and other standard touristy attractions followed by a day for miscellaneous attractions including shopping etc. We were then tossing between doing a cruise of the three islands on the third day versus just relaxing in the hotel room, mainly because of the negative reviews on the cruises that we had read and how they were a rip off at the price of 79 Euros. People have written about how one can do the three islands on your own, but on seeing the ramshackle boats, the logistics and the price of food and drink, we realised that it was not going to be drastically cheaper for a bit of an apology of a cruise which would also involve finding our own transport to the Marina and back etc.
We therefore decided to take the risk and opted for paying 99 Euros on a trip arranged by the hotel with Olympic Cruises on their Three island cruise of Hydra, Porus and Aegina from Athens in April and what a delightful cruise it was.
We were picked up and dropped back at the hotel punctually by a luxurious air conditioned and comfortable bus and were highly impressed with the cruise itself and felt it was worth the 99 Euros we paid with no regrets.
The cruise covered three distinctively different islands, each with their own characteristics and the cruise ship was new, large, fabulous, clean and spacious, with excellent service, top notch meals and live entertainment. What more could one ask for.
Adequate time was given in each island for our own sight-seeing and the crew were extremely friendly. We made some great friends in the cruise too making our day very memorable.
This was our personal experience and naturally we would highly recommend this. We are not disputing the fact that others may have had experiences which would have been otherwise, but then you get what you pay for and I think we got pretty good value for what we paid.

We were referred to Christos by the lovely Christina who arranged our villa rental in Aegina (Villa Klima, an awesome house!)
We arranged a private boat excursion for our family of four. We went to Moni, Argistri, Apanissos and other small island sanctuaries for superior swimming, snorkeling in caves and exploring the most crystal clear waters of the Saronic golf. Our day was truly a dream... Christos has an authentic love of the area and deep knowledge base to educate his lucky passengers. My children learned to catch sea urchins and we ate them fresh, on the boat! We felt welcome, safe and very well cared for the entire day. The food and drink were plentiful, generous, fresh and delicious. We were able to jetski and enjoy water sports. This is a "must experience" for visitors of Aegina. We recommend Christos highly for his hospitality and excellent nautical expertise. Enjoy the surprises at sea! So many lifetime memories were made for our family on Aegina cruise, thank you!

Aegina is a must-see when in Greece. Even though we visited in winter with a rough sea, I enjoyed every but of the cruise. Pistachios are a must-buy as they are a specialty of the town. You can have lunch or coffee in one of the many cafes around the town. The best way to explore the town is to rent a bike for 5 € and enjoy the narrow streets of aegina..

WOW. What an exciting, fun packed day, lots and lots of laughs. Due to bad weather, our group's island hopping cruise reverted to a Plan B.. and we had the best day and the best Plan B one could ask for with Christo and his first mate. This was an unforgettable experience and a highlight we talk about now having returned home to Australia. The sailing experience with an expert at the helm, had it all. Swimming in beautiful crystal blue Aegean waters, swimming in caves, tasting the delicacies from the sea and a very tasty bbq with all the trimmings on an island inhabited by 2 people.. It was hospitality at its finest. Loved every minute. Thank you Christo from our group of 15 from Australia.

I saw Christos' great reviews on trip advisor and knew this tour was a must on our trip to Aegina. We were in Athens for the weekend and wanted to get out of the city for the day. Aegina was a perfect fit. Christos was ready right when we showed up and he had sent me very easy walking directions to his boat from the ferry. We got on right away and went to an island with an animal sanctuary. Our next stop was jumping in the water near some caves to do snorkeling and spelunking. Christos had a special surprise for us waiting in one of the caves (I won't ruin the surprise for anyone who might take this tour in the future). He was very patient and kind with one of our group members who was a little hesitant about getting in the water.

Christos was very relaxed but made sure we saw everything we needed to/wanted to throughout our day in Aegina. He provided us with snacks and let us stop at a market so we could buy some cheese and bread.

Overall this was the highlight of our trip to Athens and a must-do for anyone spending a day in Aegina.

Absolute expert on the waters of aegina and close by islands . Professional attitude and it can be combined with a beach BBQ. Under water caves , amazing blue waters , snorkeling and magnificent sunsets are some of the highlights you can enjoy. With a small arrangement in advance you can even have water sports included in your day.

We have not long returned from a lovely break on the beautiful island of Aegina and while there we were fortunate enough to have this company recommended to us by some fellow tourists.
On their recommendation we booked the "Day in the sea" cruise, a full day out on an open deck boat cruising round several small Greek islands with numerous stops for swimming, snorkelling and a BBQ lunch.
The day started at 10am when we were met by Christos (the very cheery Greek captain!) who welcomed us on to his boat. There was plenty of room to soak up the sun and enjoy a refreshment as we set sail to our first destination of Moni island where we stopped to swim and look at the wild deer and peacocks on this wildlife sanctuary. After this we sailed to Chalikada where we were able to visit underwater caves, under Christos' guidance. We even saw the semi tame seal that apparently frequents the caves!
We sailed to another destination where we enjoyed a superb BBQ lunch with loads of lovely fresh food and plenty to drink!! after more swimming time we set sail to our final stop at Metopi where we had a last dip and then headed back to Aegina for around 5pm, tired but very happy.
This was a great day out and very good value. Fantastic scenery and beautiful crystal clear waters! The crew were extremely polite and helpful and Christos especially was a mine of information and full of fun. The kids loved him!! We would highly recommend this cruise to anyone. (Christos told us that they offer a range of other trips too)
