It is a quaint seaside but not great in the quality of the merchandise. Food is pretty good - fresh and somewhat limited in variety. Nice place to visit and take a sunset stroll.

Sitting opportunities, view on the other islands, walking path, restaurants, coffees, shops, ice creams and water tours offers. Nice to sit on the benches and watch the sea and the sail boats.

Aegina is the closest island to Athens with only 1 hour distance by ferry, almost 20 € return tickets. It’s beautiful and lively.

Lovely little island - chill for a few days & catch some rays on the beaches or take a day trip. I'd definitely recommend renting a quad bike to check out the island if you're just going for the day, they're €25 to rent from...More

The Waterfront in Aegina is small but pleasant. Shops or restaurants appear to be doing good business especially in summer. Aegina is known for good pistachios (first brought from Aleppo, Syria )and these can be bought from the Waterfront. Do try the pistachio ice cream...More
