Absolutely love this place. The setting is amazing, gorgeous little restaurant under the pine trees. Unsurprisingly extremely busy and popular, the service is second to none. The food is also exquisite, and comes from such a teeny tiny kitchen, truly unbelievable! Great atmosphere, lunch really buzzy, and dinner so romantic under the fairy lights and toes in the sand. A real gem.

A lovely little beach and clear water. The kids enjoyed swimming and looking at the fish. The only issue we had…. We went on a Sunday by taxi from Cala Esmerelda. We tried to get a taxi back and was told 2 1/2 hours wait at least. Our hotel tried to help but got similar times quoted. So the only advice was to walk. So the three of us set off in over 30 degrees heat with 1/3 of a bottle of water between us. Luckily for us a traveller stopped to ask directions to the beach and I managed to also add we had to walk back. A few minutes later he turned round and offered a lift. I did warn my teens we wouldn’t do this any other time! So my advice is to make sure you have travel arrangements covered as there are no buses there.

Beautiful beach, it is known well enough to attract quite some people. There are parkings nearby and it takes quite some steps to get here but well worth it. The beach is quite a bit away from the sea, you can safely walk along the rocks to enjoy the views and find the sea

The bay itself is very nice to look at, unfortunately its very very small and is totally overcrowded. If youd like to lay on a sun-lounger, forget it. I think you'd probably have to get there at about 5 am to be in time to get one. The only other option available is to lay on the sand and sadly this is so overcrowded its quite a task to get anywhere near the water without stepping on someones face. Once you do get into the water you may be pleasantly surprised by its shallowness and think it'll be good for the kids. However, beware of the stones and rocks that litter the sea floor. Not a huge problem but a child can quite easily hurt their feet on them.

The restaurant at the back of the beach is staffed by what I can only describe as people that have gone to University to gain a degree in rudeness. If you attempt to queue (some nationalities simply don't bother and go to the front of the queue) the staff will completely ignore you and prefer instead to wash glasses and plates and seem totally oblivious to anyone actually wanting to buy anything, If they do manage to find the time in their busy schedule to bother to serve you they will then take an age to move the one metre to the either the coffee machine or the freezer to get what you asked for. If you havnt died of starvation and/or boredom and have successfully managed to buy anything from the staff that seem more intent on trying to look coo, then to actually do their job you then have the task of trying to get your hot coffee and ice cream back across the sea of bodies covering practically every inch of sand.

My tip - Go and have a look. Dont park in the car park (you have to pay) and quickly trot down the steps, take a photo and then drive to a beach that isnt jam packed.

Oh and if nature calls, avoid the ladies toilets. During my visit here one lady got locked inside and couldnt get out. Quite amusing for the onlookers but she was less than impressed.

It is a beautiful little beach, clean and not too busy. The sea is clear and you can swim quite far before the dark seaweed area appears. There is are a few nice little coves around.

We visited this beach in the third week of July. It has to be one of the most beautiful on the south east coast of Majorca. Easy to find, free parking on the road, free wi-fi, lifeguard station and beds and umbrellas. Arrive early (before 10) to secure beds (16 euros for 2 beds and a brollie). The water is crystal clear and the white sand beach shelves gently into a designated swimming area. The beach bar serves great snacks and drinks with tables under the shade of a large pine tree. The surrounding area is not built up or surrounded by hotels/apartment blocks. Highly recommend and we will be returning before the end of our holiday.

Cala Sa Nau is the nicest beach we've ever visited (and I include the west coast of Florida and the Bahamas on that!) - but I'm wary of even saying this as I want to still be able to get a sunbed on our next visit!

I much prefer coves to long stretches of beach and Cala Sa Nau was perfect. Small but perfectly packaged.

Very natural setting, without the hotels and apartment complexes which surround the nearby (and very nice!) coves in Cala D'Or. This is the perfect spot for snorkelling in unbelievably clear water, for jumping from the rocks or simply chilling on the beach.

The sunbeds have the most wonderful bed like cushions and the well stocked bar/cafe has a really welcoming feel to it..... It was busy when we were there (early August), so try to get there early morning or late afternoon.

Our kids aren't massive beach fans. But they were more than happy to stay here all day without complaint and would regard our 3 visits as highlights of our 2 week holiday. Will definitely return one day!

Unfortunately the beach was not cleaned and covered with seagrass and other oceanic stuff. But basically it is a nice bay and beach. If cleaned.

Visited 30th July. Given that it's a small cove with sand, we thought it would be fairly warm but the water was quite cold. Something to consider if taking children as ours quickly decided it wasn't for them. It was beautiful though.

Parking under trees is a very small walk from the beach up/down some concrete steps. I'd recommend driving down to the carpark even if it looks busy as it seems lots of people just assume there's no spaces and park along the road.
