Like the site, the museum is small, quiet, and nice. The museum is actually the entrance to the site so if you're stopping by, definitely do both. There is a lot of history in a small space but it is interesting and makes for a...More

Isthmia has been one of the 4 ancient Greek sanctuaries, hosting Panhellenic meetings and sports games, similar to Olympia. Very worthy to visit.

Visit of this museum will make your holiday more attractive. I stayed at the Hotel Saron and one day decided to visit this museum with my mum. And it is not a bad place where you can meet with history.

A great museum well laid out and very informative. EU citizens are admitted to this and the Archeological site half price (6 euros) and students are free (make sure that you have passport and/or Student ID card with you

Our guidebook did not rate the site too highly - ignore - the small museum is interesting and well set out and explained and while it was badly robbed in antiquity you can work it out . The mosaic in the roman baths at the...More

The Museum is small but the displays are excellent. The Roman glass panels are especially impressive. The signs on the site explain the ruins very well. Be sure to follow the path down to the stunning bath mosaic.

I stopped here because this was once the site of the famous Pan-Hellenic Isthmian Games, but there wasn't much to see, at least of the stadion. (There are also the remains of an ancient temple of Poseidon, which may be of more interest to some.)...More

This site needed a lot of imagination but then we are not archaeologically minded so I am sure this would have been amazing to those with the right insights
