Great beach with an amazing beach bar. You can hire sunbeds,,drink cold beers and eat fabulous bar food here. Fantastic view of the sunsets and Catamaran's at the bar stools early evening. Special shout out to the beach bar staff. Top class and entertaining ❤️

This is a long black sand beach and there was plenty of parking in the nearby town. The beach consists of small black pebbles and lots of pumice stones that have been worn down by the sea. Our family enjoyed walking on this scenic beach. The pumice stones were fun to play with as they float in the water. The beach receives a lot of sun but we would recommend bringing an old swimming suit, towel and shoes because there is some sort of oil on this beach which can get your items dirty. The beach is relatively clean otherwise. There is not much on or around the beach so do consider bringing your own snacks and drinks. There is a tomato museum nearby that sounds interesting but it was closed when we visited in March 2024.

Lovely walk along this beach! It's very rocky and the sand is very hot! Nice views and pictures. Definitely a must see. The beach is long, we walked from the boating all the way to Theros wave bar. Part of the beach is nude and another is family friendly.

The place is great, really chill, with music in the background, you can relax, sleep, swim (the water is deeper than other beaches that we experienced in Santorini which means there are few families with kids), not too crowded, with very good beds (30 euro on the first row to the seaside, 25 on the second, and 20 at the third), big umbrellas so everything you can wish for. We really enjoyed it! We totally recommend Vlychada beach!

Lovely little beach with life guard on duty during the day. Black gravelly sand so quite hot under foot. Sea is clear and lovely for swimming. Beach bar with sun loungers but they’re quite expensive (€30 for front row) however, after 5 they’re free if you buy a drink from the bar which is what we tended to do. Lovely little marina a few minutes walk away with a shop, ice cream and a fantastic restaurant. The beach is a great viewing point for the fabulous sunsets and not too busy either. The cliff formations are pretty stunning too all the way along the beach.

Fabulous backdrop with the moon rocks (reminds you of a scene from Star Wars!), the sand is coarse and gets very hot so beach shoes are recommended. You have to pay for your beds and umbrella (more expensive the closer to the sea you are) and we paid 25 euros to be on the front row, but it was very quiet and gave is a clear view of the surfers and boats. The sea was very very rough and was strong enough to knock you off your feet, so probably not ideal for families, but fine for couples.
