Very atmospheric beach! Probably the most atmospheric in Santorini!
Worth checking? Due to difficult access not many tourists go there!
The only issue is that there are not many places with shadow ( you have to pay for a chair in a bar) so it...More
There are services available, tavernas light the big beach at Perissa, but there lots fewer people.

Vlychada is a chill beach with black sand and back stopped by sand swept cliffs. Chairs and umbrellas are available for rent from the little cafe by the parking lot. Water is wavy, so swimming can be difficult.
In the middle of the island we actually drove down to this beautiful black sand beach lined with the volcanic Rocked cliffs, It was cold and windy but their were still sunbathers that realized this is a beach you don't want to miss
I stopped briefly at this beach whilst exploring Santorini island. There's not too much of interest in the off season, just another black sand beach. It was a very windy day when I was there and the beach was almost completely covered in water.

Hi-There's a bar in the beginning of Vlichada. They have bathrooms there; but you must use their facilities or at least to purchase something at the bar. This beach is amazing because it's natural, quiet and away from the touristic rush. So do not expect the same structure as Perissa or Kamari.
Other must sees are Emporio village, the Ligthhouse, the panoramic from Profitis Ilias, Oia during the morning, sunset in Imerovigli, cocktails and The White Door Theatro in Fira, the excavations of Akrotiri and lunch in a fish tavern close to the Red Beach.
