Had the greatest day with George!
My wife and I enjoyed this cruise very much that I would genuinely recommend it to anyone who listens!
We had the afternoon ride (he does morning and afternoon cruises). We started sailing at 15:00 and came back to the port at around 21:00.
We went through many beaches and many landmarks such as the red beach then stayed for almost an hour at another beach where we swam and food was served.
The food was home made spaghetti with shrimp, arugula salad, home made bread and cod pies along with white wine, beer and water. Everything was so delicious and they kept on asking if we wanted more which, of course, we were not opposed to😌
George and his assistant Iana (I hope that's the correct spelling!) were marvelous in every sense of the word! Very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable! We genuinely felt as if they were family!
The stories, the jokes, the loving atmosphere was beyond our imagination that he even taught us how to sail and steer the wheel!
George loves to stay late to allow his guests( not customers as he lovingly says) to get the maximum time to enjoy the sunset which we appreciated very much as we were the last to arrive at the port but definitely the ones who got their money's worth!
The price was 150 euros for each, which initially was expensive, but after doing the cruise we knew for a fact it was worth it!
I can't recommend this cruise enough! It's beyond what we had in mind and would definitely do it again given the chance.

First of all, it’s all about the crew. George is an exceptional highly experienced captain and skipper. He puts safety and comfort of his guests first! We learned from him a lot about the island/volcano, greek love stories and about sailing. It was a lot of fun, also because he is one of the very few that actually does some sailing on the trip, while almost all other yachts don’t show their sails at all. It’s just much more quiet & romantic than motorboat all the time (engine noise).
And there is Ina, when somebody is smiling so beautiful while serving beer & wine, how could you not smile back :-))) Later, Ina cooked for us a fresh and super delicious dinner on the boat! Check out the photo!

We had the most amazing time with Angel Sailing on a semi-private sunset sail. The experience was authentic and George (our skipper) and his first mate made us feel at home from the minute we arrived. They put so much effort in and it had a very homely vibe.
We passed by all the main attractions and were given a running commentary explaining the history and geology of Santorini then we sailed to a more secluded spot for swimming and a meal away from all the masses of people on the catemaran cruises.
At the meal they were able to accommodate that my wife and I don't eat fish so we enjoyed tomato pasta with chicken - although most people had the same pasta with shrimp and fishcakes. There were also other homemade greek dishes and it was all delicious.
We had the opportunity to experience sailing at its finest with the engine turned off and just the sound of the water lapping the hull - bliss. Anybody who wanted to could also experience sailing the boat themselves too.
I would definitely recommend this tour if you are coming to Santorini.

Sailing in the Santorian volcanic gulf was such an experience.. Even better when you have a Captain, excellent educated, with you. Not only for his knowledge on sailing but also for his knowledge on history, geology and growth of the Santorini island. George (the Captain) made sure our cruise in the Caldera were being mesmerized!! The day started windy but George made sure not to feel sick as he sailed us safe having perfect skills. Explained the whole volkanic erruption and how the island took its final form as we see it today. He leaded as through the volcanos to the island of Thirasia where we had super and a lot of swim. The sea was calm by then and "His" fishes could approach us to swim together 🙂 As we returned back to the port, George made the last stop to admire the Sunset from a lonely spot, not to be disturbed by other boats. So, we had the chance to admire it in fullest!

Our hotel recommended Angel Sailing for our sunset cruise and we had a fantastic experience. With only one other couple joining us on the yacht, skipper George shared his knowledge of the island and took us to quieter waters to enjoy snorkelling and delicious food & wine. Watching the sunset was the perfect end to this fabulous trip. Highly recommended.

If you're deciding between one of the "traditional" catamaran trips and this one PICK THIS ONE!!! We did both and the difference is astounding. We were out on the water just ahead of the crowd and were in a more maneuverable vessel, so the pictures I got on the sailboat were incredible - and didn't require editing out the heads, hands, and more of other people. Captain George was selective about our trip based on what we had already seen and shared interesting stories and history during much of the excursion. We stopped for snorkeling and swimming, then enjoyed a scrumptious lunch. We were offered way more than we could eat (unlike the catamaran) and a diversity of personally prepared dishes. We had a choice of wine, beer, sodas, and water (no beer on the catamaran) with our meal and throughout the trip. We selected the semi-private excursion because our pockets aren't that deep. It is 100% worth paying the difference from "the other guys" for this magical experience. You'll never have the opportunity to see so many shades of blue as the waters of this sea!

Fantastic semi private tour along Santorini Island.
The boat was nice, comfortable and clean.
George was a great captain and guide explaining us every secret of the island.
Lovely hand made lunch based with different kind of foods.
Strongly recommended if you want do an authentic sail trip with few people.

L’inglese è l’unica lingua parlata a bordo ( escluso il greco ovviamente). Noi ci troviamo sempre a nostro agio, anche se solo io ho più dimestichezza nel dialogo e nella comprensione... e sovente devo tradurre ai miei famigliari. Certo che se spiegano qualcosa o raccontano qualche aneddoto durante la gita è un peccato non coglierne il senso...
