Hippy Market

Fun, colourful and lively place to visit. Full of interesting little nicknacks, some lovely jewellery and lots of ethnic clothes. Well worth a visit.

Thought this was going to be different to the day time market in Es Cane. It is only to the extent its at night. Its just the same old over priced "handmade" stuff - just in a better suroundings. Unless you really like that sort of quirky stuff i wouldn't bother. The bar is twice the price as the resort... More

This place was celebrating its 40th birthday this year and is truly a hippy market. It has all sorts of clothes, jewellery and nic naks. Some stall holders take cards if you don't have much cash but not all. Watch your bags and pockets as everything is packed close and there is plenty of opportunity for pick pocketing although we... Not far to walk from town centre..about ten different kinds of stalls, duplicated many many times. Takes about 2 hours to get around. We visited the last Wednesday of our holidays. As we had already looked around the local shops and been to Sta. Eulalia, the stuff in the market was more expensive than in the shops. I suppose it... More

Huge range of stalls offering home made goods. Fantastic atmosphere and original quality of items. Spent a fortune but just wish I could visit to buy Christmas presents.

Be careful if you go to the Hippy Market, pick pockets about and very clever with it! Watch your wallet and valuables! Seen one or two stalls, seen them all! Not really that cheap, better value for goods at local gift shops. Some entertainers dotted around which were pleasant to listen to, but as I've already said - WATCH OUT... More

Amazing market! If you have ever been to Camden Market in London then you'll be prepared. Open on Wednesdays, the market it HUGE. It has something for everyone. There are places to eat, live music, and loads and loads of stalls. It was busy and hot, but definitely worth it. There were bars where you could be alcohol and softdrinks... More
