Do it! We had a great time with Peter in the Henningsvær Skjærene! We all- kids and adults- enjoyed it a lot! Peter not only showed us beautiful spots but also told und interesting things about the Lofoten, its landscape and history! It was a real pleasure! Thanks, Peter!

We kayakked around Henningsvær for 3 hrs. Our guide Marco was super friendly and welcoming. He thought us the basics of paddling a single kayak which we had never done before. The weather could have been better as it were a bit windy, but Marco adjusted the route perfectly after the conditions.

My husband and I went out winter kayaking and what a fantastic experience! Firstly, Henningsvær is a beautiful place; kayaking through the harbour and out around the surrounding small islands was such a lovely experience. If you are choosing between here and Svolvær, I definitely recommend Henningsvær; a much quieter and prettier location and easy to get to (we got the bus which was regular throughout the day). Peter is a great guide making for a fun and comfortable tour. The equipment was good quality and you don’t need to worry about being cold - the dry suits kept us very warm. The weather threatened to stop our tour, but Peters flexibility meant that we were able to track the weather even on the day and make a decision. A great experience all round, thanks Peter! :)

Hi Louise Thank you very much for this great review, I appreciate a lot that you took your time to write about the tour. I’m happy you enjoyed the winter tour, the kayak gear and guiding. I always try my best so you can get a nice and lasting memory about Lofoten, its nature and its history from the water side. Cheers and all the best, Peter.

Wonderful evening Kayak, the sea was very calm and our guide guided us through some very beautiful spots that you wouldn't be able to get to by foot. The colors of the sky were peachy and purple as the sun set and we were blessed with the presence of an eagle and got to see and touch a sea urchin. A wonderful trip, well worth the money!

Our guide, Axel, was extremely knowledgeable of the area and its animals, so we got informal history and science lessons along with a fantastic kayaking experience. We started out by heading straight into the ocean's chop, which was a little exciting! Then we explored some quiet island harbors with Caribbean blue waters and even squeezed through a few spots that were only passable because it was high tide. There were six of us on the tour plus Axel, and we used double kayaks. It felt like a truly authentic kayak adventure in Lofoten. We saw grey herons, oystercatchers, a variety of gulls, and black guillemots, plus sea urchins, barnacles, etc. We stopped a few times for Axel to tell stories and to take a break from paddling. The gear was in great shape (from what I could tell as a novice kayaker) and we had a wonderful time. The length of the tour and quality of the experience made the tour a great value. Highly recommended!
