Beach was nice but really crowded (the down side of being a really popular tourist attraction) snap on a pair of goggles and a snorkel and dive into a magical underwater world. So much amazing coral formations and hundreds of fish. Swim in the warm water and watch as the sea bed disappears into the blackness the further out you... More

We did some snorkeling and dives at the Ningaloo Reef recently, snorkeling done up at the Oyster Stacks near Yardie/Exmouth then some dives from Coral Bay where we saw lots of reef sharks, turtles and whale sharks! They were a ways away from us in the water but they were still huge. Ningaloo Reef is one of the best reefs... More

Having visited the Barrier Reef on two occasions and seen the devastating effects of coral bleaching on the reef, I would highly recommend the Ningaloo Reef to anyone visiting Western Australia. There is no need to book a tour a tour or take a long boat trip out to the reef: once visitors reach the beach in Exmouth it's as... More

Over the last 11 winters, we've stayed for 9 on the Ningaloo Reef-sometimes at Yardie Creek Homestead CP and always in the same holiday in Coral Bay. I love the weather (most of the time) and the fact the water is usually around 24c. We have a small boat and fishing inside the reef is easy and rewarding. We see... More

We did a snorkeling trip with Ningaloo Reef Glass Bottom boat. The guide (Alec) was fantastic and lifted everyone from the get-go. Navigated like a champ every time that we say something interesting underneath (Sea turtles etc). Stopped for wonderful snorkeling for 45 min or so which was the perfect amount and no stressing us. Beautiful area in general with... More

This is as good as the best of the barrier reef, but much more accessable once you've got here. Exmouth is pretty but small. Staying in the park has to be booked online. Very affordable but fully booked in school holidays. Amazing snorkeling at Turquoise Bay and Oyster Stacks. Can hire snorkeling gear at visitor centre (great place). Lots of... More

This is a real gem in Western Australia. We are divers and this site offered a better experience snorkeling than half of the dives that we've done in SE Asia and some off the Great Barrier reef. There's something magical about it. Oyster stacks is the highlight where you're just over a meter over the the coral and it's lit... More

Had a wonderful day and with several enthralling encounters with the whale sharks. We were really impressed by the obvious dedication of the crew and their commitment to making sure that everyone had the best time – which they certainly seemed to. Being confident that the crew are always in control is essential to feeling safe in the water so... More

We stayed at Coral Bay in WA and saw some truly wonderful sea life. On our first full day here we saw a turtle gliding majesticly through the water, small reef sharks, manta rays and many colourful reef fish. What a wonderful day. Magical experience. I love it here!
