Amazing experience....

Most of the beaches in Mauritius are stunning to enjoy and spend time. This is another great place where you would love beach activities.

You can get here only through catamaran. With white sands and pristine waters, it was a relaxing trip. Take care of the water though because of its strong current.

The only way to get there is by catamaran from a cruise company or by a private boat. If you go with a cruise company, you will have the chance to visit a few of the nearby islands on the same day so it is definitely worth the deal in my opinion. The beach is great, the sand is snow... More

Not much people on this island. Nice beach. Took a trip with a speedboat and had a BBQ. Great place to go.

We went by private boat to the very spot where this photo was taken. It was a choppy boat ride past the Coin de Mire but once we got there, it was so lovely that we anchored right on the beach, and sat in the gently lapping waves for a few hours, sipping refreshing drinks and enjoying the setting.

We booked a tour on a catamaran with sunkiss I think they are called. The bbq was nice but this is about the beach! Fantastic! Fine golden sand and the sea is 3 shades of blue and very calm with a gentle current. The snorkeling is also good but like most places a lot of the coral is dead due... More

We booked the catamaran day trip from Grand Bay to Ile Plate Beach AKA Flat Island through Mauritius Attractions. It took 1.5 hours to reach from Grand Bay and was great fun. We had a choice when we arrived if we would like to go to the adjacent Gabriel Island but Flat Island looked far less touristy and far more... More
