Got to be the most beautiful Island of the Balearics....and they are all stunning ! But for a lovely experience try Formentera just off the island of Ibiza. A short 2 hour hop from Gatwick and a short ferry ride from the port of Ibiza town will bring you to an island of shallow beaches with lovely sands going all... More

The South coast can be considered as a very long sandy beach, and it is called Playa de Migjorn. Just drive along the road close to the coast, and stop randomly till you find your perfect place to stay!

This beach is the longest on Formentera - sandy and with bars. There are some many possibilities to go for a toilet too (there are some ToiToi-like toilets for a fee). Usually on other beaches we can not find this (maybe it is not common - but after the restaurants close in September, there are no possibilities to go for... More

The whole island is a magical place. You do however need to consider getting around.Either bus taxi, hire car or even bike like we did.We soon whizzed around from monument to church then to a beach. All for €15 which was brilliant in our opinion. We were here last week (Oct) and it was perfect as it was not too busy,in fact it was... Perfection on the beach. Not much here for families with children over 3 or 4. For those wanting total peace.

You can find a solitary spot as well as action with lots of people. Go to the end of the beach and visit the tiny beach shack for a great mojito.

Great beach, good quality water, ideal temperature, and the sand area is a bit too short but adequate.

Uncrowded, unspectacular but totally encapsulating, playa migorn is the place to go where the Italian crowds are not. Lovely beach side restaurants and lots of room to move, we really loved this beach.

It's not only pretty with the blue ocean, and white sand. This beach is the biggest one and also the less busiest beach from Formentera I think. Visit this beautiful beach!

Great beach catering for all kinds of beach lovers! On the north end it has the more busy classical beach holiday style, in the middle stretch it starts to get calmer with the trendy Blue Bar and other 'cool' restaurants and bars, whilst the south part is more quite.
