Located on the outskirts of McGregor Eseltjiesrus Donkey Sanctuary is worth a visit. Lovely farm restaurant for a breakfast or light lunch followed with a tour of the rescued donkeys

What a wonderful place. After a delicious lunch of generous homemade chicken pie up at the restaurant we were taken down to the field where we met the donkeys. Pure bliss.
