Great cocktails with and without alcohol to enjoy at the balcony of Skala bar. Served with a smile from Tom the owner. Have a drink when the sun goes down and enjoy the moon and stars above the sea. Try the Ouzo milkshake with cranberries, succes garantueed!

We were at Tom's Skala Bar for drinks on our first evening in Ammopi.
We stayed in Ammopi for a week and came after dinner every single evening back for drinks and the incredible, just beautiful view and atmosphere.
Tom does the most terrific job. The way he serves drinks or food, are done with so much heart and look really great (and taste so, too, of course!!).
It didn't take too long until I was there for lunch, too.
The olive paste with toast or the ham and cheese toast which my brother had were always delicious and better than any place else (we had tried these combos already at several other places). The milkshake tastes just like a real one is supposed to and the Splash Cocktail which is basically a non-alcoholic smoothie is the most delicious drink I had on the island.
Tom's Skala Bar was the best experience I had during our entire stay on Karpathos and would call this place something close to "home".
Thank you for giving us, my family and me, the best time, Tom.
And by the way, the Skala building alone is worth going there, at least once.

Came here on three occasions, the drinks are perfect, the location is beautiful and mesmerizing. Sitting here on an evening to relax with the best mojito of Karpathos. Friendly atmosphere, very relaxed. Would recommend going there to watch the sea, stars and the moon.

This place is out on a promontory overlooking Ammopi Bay. We stopped in for a drink after a day on the beach. The cocktail selection is extensive. The owner is a really cool guy and we enjoyed talking with him. We ended up coming back here a few times to relax and enjoy the view with some drinks.

Tom is the personable owner of Skala, a bar in what resembles a lighthouse overlooking Amoopi and the Mediterranean. Skala serves sandwiches and snacks and, more importantly, great cocktails and mixed drinks. Whether it's the snacks or the drinks, they are all served in original dishes and glasses.
As good as the drinks and snacks are, Tom is what makes Skala special-so special we were there every night during our week long stay in Amoopi. Judging by the full tables, we weren't the only ones who enjoyed the environment and Tom.

If you are looking for a stunning 360 degrees sea view + parking+ comfortable chairs+ friendly staff+ rich drink list at reasonable prices, don’t miss the Skala bar just a few steps from Amoupi beach.

Enjoyed many cocktails at this wonderful bar overlooking the bay. Perfect location, friendly and chatty Dutch owner, Tom . If you want to have a smoothie, ice cream or coffee in the daytime or enjoy watching the sunset over a cocktail this is the best place to visit in Amoopi. Highly recommend the pina colada .
