Truffle hunt and Barolo wine tasting

12 reviews
Italy’s Piedmont region is known as a gastronomic capital. On this private tour, you won’t just get to taste some of its most famous culinary products—you’ll go behind-the-scenes and see how they’re produced. First, join a truffle hunter and his dog on a walk, and see if you unearth any treasures. Then, transfer to a family-run winery, where you’ll learn how wine is made and enjoy samples of Barolo.

Most delightful tasting with Lenore. Beautiful tasting room and a nice selection of local wines. We purchased a case and also reserved a unique Nascetta white for 2020. You can also do a vineyard tour, which we did not do but would be most interesting.

A small winery, family owned: that's what I had looked for and it turned out a perfect choice. We had friends visiting from California and wanted to show them something different from their Napa Valley. We had the tour in the vineyard, illustrated in good English by the young owner. Not rushed, not too long. Then the tasting, conducted and illustraded by a young lady, with bread, hazelnuts, salami and parmisan cheese. All was very well done. We bought some bottles, and they send all over the world, in USA as well. We also bought hazelnuts, as they are cultivated all around, and the local quality is the best.

We had a tour of the winery and tasting. It was a great experience-both the guiding and tasting was enthusiastically presented and it seem like a real family business. The wines very good and it’s was the affordable pricing compared to other winery tour. Really recommendable!

This was the first stop on our trip and it was amazing. Small family vineyard, excellent wine, great value and yummy snacks! Definitely visit. Beats the big commercial ones
