About

I was here with a group of friends...14! It is not easy to find wineries that host such large groups, but in Costa di Bussia they proved to be very willing to welcome us all (despite the fact that they normally do not allow reservations for more than 12 people).
Every year we visit a winery in the Langa and this year we chose this one: it was a very pleasant experience. The boy who accompanied us on the visit was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The wines are excellent and the tasting room very welcoming!
I recommend it!

Winery mainly focused on the Barolo.
Brief explanation of the vineyard, something about the history of the vineyard and then a tasting of the white chardonnay, the Barbera d’Alba and 3 different Barolos. White chardonnay surprisingly delicious! Nice that t could be in t English. Well taken care of explanations and tasting!

Beautiful, beautiful place in the middle of the vineyards of Piedmont.
Nice large room and toilet, nice bed and well-functioning wifi (room: Campo dei Buoi).
Nice outdoor conditions with a jacuzzi and the opportunity to sit outside and enjoy your food with the beautiful view.
Breakfast is included and consists of yoghurt, juice, milk, coffee, ham, cheese and various ready-made cakes and toast. Nice when you are aware that this is how it is. There is a small kitchen with 2 hotplates and a microwave for free use by the guests in the 3 rooms.

The staff are incredibly nice - and a special greeting to Alicia made us feel at home and welcome.
A wine tasting can really be recommended, we got the big tasting. It was delicious wine, good tour and story, clearly value for money. Everyone should indulge themselves if they visit the Costa di Bussia.

This is our third visit and each time the tasting/tour has been fantastic. The museum adds an extra element and is a lovely cool spot on a hot day! Knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide and great choice of wines to try.

Walking vineyards, visiting museum of history of this winery, and tasting. Erica guided us and she is really nice and friendly.
For tasting, we have tried 8 bottles of wines and 2 liquors. Not just tasting, it was something like education for me, which enlighten my sense of wine.
I really want to visit here again during Autumn.

We were on a walking trip through the vineyards of the Langhe area and on our day off wanted to do some wine tasting at a winery/vineyard. This place was suggested to us by the local tourist information and it didn't disappoint. We walked ftom the centre of monforte d'Alba (about 30 mins) amd greeted at the door by our wine tasting guide for the next hour. We had a fantastic time and were treated to some lovely local wines and local knowledge. Would highly recommend a trip here. Our luggage is now 3 bottles of wine heavier!!!

Costa di Bussia is a great spot for drinking Barolo, but I just opened a Chardonnay I bought there in May of 2016 and it is just as delightful as the day I was there. I have one more chardonnay and a few Barolos left in my wine fridge, which means it's almost time for another visit to this terrific property. Save me a spot for May! I'll be calling Simon, Julia, and Luca at Piedmont Food & Wine soon.

I was extremely impressed with Erica who showed myself and Luca the winery
She is a chemist by trade and brought her analytical mind to Bussia.
She articulated quite succinctly all the elements that dictate how a Nebbiolo grape becomes a DOCG Barolo .

The Armulfi and Barolo Reserve is among my favorites of all wines , bold , masculine and smooth

The was also well versed with the history of the winery , ti think US Gallon bottles were transported via shops to Sanfrancisco in the very early 1900,s is extraordinary

Highly recommend, you will
Learn s great deal and experience a great vineyard in an old wine cellar eating cheese and salumi

Alesia was the best possible guide, for our tour of the wonderful vineyard and winery, and leading us through a fantastic tasting. The winery and its wines are the best.
