My wife and I traveled there for our honeymoon and stayed in the suite for 2 days. The staff was so helpful and very friendly. The suite was top notch and worth every penny. The layout was fantastic and the jacuzzi tub was awesome. The room was stocked with complimentary wine, cheese, meats and snacks. It is also a working winery so we opted for the wine tasting they offered us and didn't regret it. We ordered a mix-match case to be sent back home with us! If we were ever to return we would absolutely stay there again...and get more wine!
Side note, we stayed there in April of 2019 but it would not let me select that

Walking vineyards, visiting museum of history of this winery, and tasting. Erica guided us and she is really nice and friendly.
For tasting, we have tried 8 bottles of wines and 2 liquors. Not just tasting, it was something like education for me, which enlighten my sense of wine.
I really want to visit here again during Autumn.

We were on a walking trip through the vineyards of the Langhe area and on our day off wanted to do some wine tasting at a winery/vineyard. This place was suggested to us by the local tourist information and it didn't disappoint. We walked ftom the centre of monforte d'Alba (about 30 mins) amd greeted at the door by our wine tasting guide for the next hour. We had a fantastic time and were treated to some lovely local wines and local knowledge. Would highly recommend a trip here. Our luggage is now 3 bottles of wine heavier!!!

Costa di Bussia is a great spot for drinking Barolo, but I just opened a Chardonnay I bought there in May of 2016 and it is just as delightful as the day I was there. I have one more chardonnay and a few Barolos left in my wine fridge, which means it's almost time for another visit to this terrific property. Save me a spot for May! I'll be calling Simon, Julia, and Luca at Piedmont Food & Wine soon.

I was extremely impressed with Erica who showed myself and Luca the winery
She is a chemist by trade and brought her analytical mind to Bussia.
She articulated quite succinctly all the elements that dictate how a Nebbiolo grape becomes a DOCG Barolo .
The Armulfi and Barolo Reserve is among my favorites of all wines , bold , masculine and smooth
The was also well versed with the history of the winery , ti think US Gallon bottles were transported via shops to Sanfrancisco in the very early 1900,s is extraordinary
Highly recommend, you will
Learn s great deal and experience a great vineyard in an old wine cellar eating cheese and salumi

We celebrated our honeymoon traveling through Italy and made our last stop in Monforte d' Alba. We are so lucky we found Costa di Bussia. We stayed in the suite for 2 days and couldn't have finished our trip in any better way. The suite has an amazing layout and comes stocked with wine and a nice selection of meats/cheeses. The staff that took care of us is absolutely 5 star and took wonderful care of us. The tour of the vineyard and facilities is a must do even if you are not staying there. The wines are top notch. So much so we bought a mix/match case of it. The staff even arranged shipping for us back to Florida. We will definitely return to the area and when we do we will be staying at Costa di Bussia again.

This was one of the best winery tours and tastings we've been on in Italy or anywhere else for that manner. The winery tour along with the historical background provided was very interesting. The tasting was up to 13 different wines from whites to three different Barolos. A desert wine and Grappa were also available. Knowledgeable host and beautiful tasting room. Meats and cheese were provided as a snack. The winery location and surrounding area is stunning. Not to be missed if you are in the area.

We visited after a morning hunting white truffles with a local guide and his dog. The food and wine pairing surpassed anything we’ve experienced in Sonoma, Napa or los olivos.nice museum and tour of the cellar
