Demanding Hike

There is a wonderfully signposted circular hiking trail around Marocche di Dro. It is not an easy hike, especially towards the end. The beginning looks harmless enough, but if at any point you feel like it is getting too difficult: turn around, don't hope that it'll get easier again after a little while. It won't.

The second half is mostly climbing over large boulders, which requires some balance and solid shoes. It is not a hike you can reasonably take dogs on, as soft paws and shorter legs will struggle.

All that being said: It is a hike of constantly changing scenery, beautiful from beginning to end. And the fossilised traces of dinosaurs even kept our kids happy.
