Saxholl crater is a classic volcanic crater. Its quite a walk up the steps on the slopes up to the top. It was super windy when we were there and the wind can blow you sideways for a foot or 2! The view on top...More

A fair few steps to the top but not steep steps at all I was doing two at once. Great views at the top somewhere special to be almost in the crater of a inactive volcano and free so well with a visit.

There was a long metal staircase leading up to the top. It was windy up there, but the view was great.
