parco grotta cascata varone is a beautiful waterfall attraction. But you see 2 waterfalls and it was, in 15 minutes you have seen everything. The falls are very beautiful, keep in mind that you can get wet. You can buy rain pocho for 2 euros. Admission was 6 euros I thought. You can pin there. With the plants and flowers you have a description, the zen garden was also neat. Parking in the neighborhood was free. Not suitable for wheelchair

We loved this waterfall. Thundering water and spray-filled air hidden inside the cliff, with a view point at the bottom and the middle. It was well worth the entrance fee. My mum's 89 and was able to walk up the long, but gently sloping, smoothly paved path.
We didn't use the cafe - there's a nice restaurant across the road.

We got there by bus from Riva - number 1 and number 2 go opposite ways round the route once an hour. This bus route also goes to Arco which is a nice town.

We were staying in a boring part of Lake Garda, luckily, we only had 2 nights there. We wanted to do a boat trip around the lake, but gave up on it because it just didn't look "joined-up" Instead, we took the car all the way round and noticed the roadside panels depicting the waterfall.
Once there, you will find 2 car parks. One right at the entrance, the other some 50m past the site, clearly signposted. Both are free. (July 2015) At the entrance, you buy your tickets for €5.50 and up you go. It's quite a walk, but ought to be within most peoples capabilities. There are well tended flowers and shrubs to view on the way, and written information on notice boards at regular intervals in different languages.
Once at the top, you enter a high cave on a path with a safety rail. The water enters from above, and cascades past into the lower cave. You are likely to get splashed, but not soaked through.
After you have descended by the same way, you can enter the lower cave, again with a safe pathway, so see it all again from a different perspective. You will have the chance to take photos and videos. Ideally, a GoPro with it's waterproof housing.
You will be done in around an hour and it will provide you with a refreshing stop.
There is a shop at the entrance with all the usual souvenirs and light refreshments.

It is a very very small park (quite clean and tidy but with disgusting restrooms). You can see the waterfall from two spots. It is impressive to see how the water has formed the stones, but that’s it. 6€ is way too much!!! If you are looking for flowers, every “bauhaus” in Germany will offer a better variety. Many people came with the raincoats, but it is really not necessary (especially during summer time).

We were in Riva del Garda and we saw a brochure in the Hotel for the Cascade Verone.
To get there we took a local Line2 bus costing 1 euro (every half hour) which after a nice drive of about a half hour through the local countryside and towns drops you at the attraction car park.
A short walk and there is a pleasant picnic area with Para soled tables. There is a shop selling drinks and snacks and souvenirs at very reasonable prices. There is a 5 euro admission to the attraction itself.
The walk through the attraction is very gentle through botanic gardens with classical music playing through speakers.
At three points you enter passageways to view the spectacular waterfall falling through 100mts.
The kids will love getting wet with the constant spray from the falls. Once outside the heat will soon have them dry again.
This is not a big facility and it depends on how much you want to view the Cascade and the garden but with a snack and a drink it is well worth spending an hour or so to see.
Return bus Line 1, again 1 euro every half hour.

Beautiful site but a bit expensive for what you get. Expected more waterfalls. 5,50 euros entrance fee is much for a half hour visit

It was a wonderful experience to go there. The waterfalls were great to see especially the ones inside the cave!. Unfortunately a big part of the cave was closed because of the rain(our visit was in November) so I recommend to visit it in the summer. There are some places to sit and enjoy the view, so I recommend to bring some food and have a nice picnic there.

We caught the no 1 bus from Riva for €1 each and it only took about 15 minutes. The entrance fee to the gardens and waterfall was €5.50 each. Unfortunately it then rained heavily for some time, so we spent a lot of the time sheltering from the rain and didn't really get to appreciate the gardens and views. There was nice classical music being played through speakers and a couple of nice picnic areas. Shame there was no nice cafe as well, only a takeaway place at the entrance. Be prepared to get wet at the top of the waterfall , so best done on a warm day or wear a waterproof!!

This is a must do when you're in the area. The cave and the waterfall are like something out of an adventure movie only without the arduous perils that are usually involved. A perfect thing to do on a hot day. The came is cool and you will get a bit wet but thats only pleasant. It's a pretty amazing thing to see and the garden outside the cave is pretty too

Just a short bus ride from Riva del Garda, we visited this park on a very hot day in June. Well worth the time as the gardens are really pleasant and the the waterfall very impressive (take a hat/rain jacket as you will get splashed!). There is cafe and small picnic area with lovely views. Maybe not for those with limited mobility as there are a fair number of steps.
