We had such a magical afternoon! We drove down through the hills of Barolo, and toured a gorgeous vineyard!! We then had an awesome guided tasting at the vineyard and walked around the grounds a bit. Then the truffle hunting was so much fun, we learned about how they raise and train the dogs, the types of truffles and all about how truffles grow! Great experience!!

Review of: Barolo Wine Tour
Driver/guide Gabriele picked us up at Alba train station, transfer went smoothly start to finish. We visited a nearby winery, tasted a whole bunch of good wines, got a tour of the little museum they had at the winery. Then visited the city of Barolo, where we had some more wine and good views. Gabriele was a great guide! Funny and friendly! Highly recommend this tour :)

Review of: Barolo Wine Tour
We booked a 4 hour Barolo wine tour. It was fantastic! Marco picked us up from our Airbnb in Alba. He was so friendly and knowledgeable; a real pleasure to spend time with. We went to a winery, did a tasting, and then explored the town of Barolo briefly. It was the perfect half-day jaunt from Alba. Marco was amazing!

The transfer ( by Marco) for our family group of three adults, to and from the farm district was on time and comfortable - a little under an hour. The truffle hunter, Martina, had good English, explained the process clearly and despite the hot and humid weather wrangled her dogs expertly and found truffles which we took away. At the conclusion we sampled a surprisingly good local wine, accompanied by local dried sausage, cheese, truffle honey, other truffle products, and local saffron, all set on a table overlooking idyllic mountain farm views. A memorable few hours!
