Took in this little chapel as part of an ATV trip
Literally stuck on a rocky bluff above the sea in the middle of nowhere
Recently rebuilt and pristine
nice little stopover and makes you think about people’s faith and how these places are built and then maintained

The chapel is recently reconstructed and very nice, with moving backstory abut jewish trader who had it built for his christian wife, but to get here, you need to travel by bad roads and the area around is rough, so take good shoes,

I visited the Chapel of Our Lady of Fatima as part of the TUI Postcards of Boa Vista tour.
The chapel is in a beautiful location near the sea with crashing waves on the rocks. Near the church are the ruins of the house built.
A nice place to visit as part of the tour

Lovely little church in the middle of nowhere on a lovely part of the north west coast. You can see Sal Rei in the distance along the coast.
