A beautiful ride in the snow and ice, with Simbi and his son Hjörleifur.
They’re both professionals and have great skills in handling horses (and people😁). The horses were perfect and Simbi og Hjörleifur provided a first class guidance. They are immediately in phase whit your competence, and you will feel confident in their guidance.

Great horse back ride.

Wonderful ride with a small group. Family owned business with great concern that you have an enjoyable time. Reasonable price. Mom and her son were our guides . I would highly reccomend this family run ranch. I am not sure but I believe they may have smaller groups than some of the other tours. We went on a 1.5 hour ride which was perfect. Horses were well cared for.

Had an amazing time here! Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful, and riding on the horses was a great experience, especially as beginners. The trail we went on also had a really great view. I'd highly recommend

Great trip and great tour guides! So welcoming and great! My daughter has Down syndrome and they picked the right horse for her and she was able to ride the full hour! Recommend this place 100%

Amazing ride through stunning scenery with fabulous ponies and a great guide

I have done quite a few trips on horse back in the past but this one was special. I have never felt as comfortable and welcome. The ponies were great, well trained and very well looked after. You could tell they enjoy life. You could also tell that our guide loves his animals and treats them accordingly. He arranged our visit very short notice and only charged us for an hour despite us being out and about for well more than that. The scenery was astonishing, we rode through snow, rivers and fields. Best day ever for me and my friend. We would highly recommend both our guide as well as the ponies. Great for beginners as well as advanced riders.

A beautiful fall ride! The crew was absolutely amazing! All of us felt safe and cared for so we were able to really enjoy the scenery and interactions with the crew. It was fun to hear about different aspects of their outfit, the area and the horses.

It was most interesing to hear about how these animals are cared for. The horses are allowed to roam free into the mountains and learn to interract with one another.

I highly recommend Tvistur! We were so touched by their genuine kindness.

Great program

Elin and the crew was very nice and friendly. We decided a night before that we would like to participate on a horse riding tour. Elin replied us very quickly. They choose horses suitable for beginners so it was comfortable. The tour was great and the landscape was beautiful. Thanks for it! :)
