We got married here! Everyone was so kind and friendly, and they all cried when our guests did, which is always touching. The beer is delicious, the staff is wonderful, and you just can't beat the setting. The restaurant nearby accommodated 30 of us for the reception wonderfully, the food was absolutely spectacular (although we felt terrible that more of it didn't get eaten!), and again, the setting! Imagine dancing at a wedding reception at night, outside in the snow, next to a fjord in northern Iceland. There's really nothing else like it.

We're told we were their first wedding, so who knows if they ever want to go through all THAT again, but if they're willing to do more functions like that, then I can't recommend Kaldi enough. Thank you all for your hospitality, and we can't wait to visit again someday!

Didn't know what to expect when we booked the beer spa but its nothing like the photo of the chap in the brick cellar. This is a clean, classy, fun, relaxing experience like no other and super reasonably priced. Strongly recommended and I was even able to take my 18 month old baby in the spa with me and he LOVED it. Great staff, wonderful experience.

Super brewery tour. Very friendly and knowledgeable, also great stories. They even give the driver two take home beers and a glass for not drinking. Definitely a positive experience, especially after finding out that you can't tour Einstock (ran by Coca Cola now).

We were there today, had booked a tour at the brewery, but due to some miscommunication, they were not having the tour at 2pm due to the Iceland soccer team playing a match in the world cup, but they invited us to join them watch the match and treated us with free tasting of the beer and dinner instead. We didn't get the tour of the brewery, but the soccer watching amongst the locals was a really enjoyable. The beer was delicious, especially the amber ale, which was my personal favorite.

We did not go to the beer spa- $90 US for 2 people for 25 minutes in a hot tub of basically beer byproducts with a cold beer tap at the side. We did not and spent $40 US for 2 at the hot tubs out side. Nice and relaxing. We met many locals and had a blast. Beer is delicious. Be careful with the Belgian Triple. I still don't remember leaving😵

We stopped by the brewery after leaving the beer spa to grab a different size t-shirt that the beer spa didn't have. We accidentally interrupted a tour (sorry!) but we were sent upstairs to be greeted by one of the owners. She was extremely welcoming and introduced us to her sons and gave us some background info about the brewery! Wish we had time for a tour but loved getting some beer, glasses, and a t-shirt to remember our trip!

We loved the location, the tour, the guide and of course the beer!

Had only a group of 7 people, so the tour was very comfortable, the guide explained everything to us, answered every question and the beers we tried were tasty.

Plus points for the bottle designs!

So if you are into Beer this is the place for you. You can soak for 25 min in an unfiltered warm beer bath and then soak outside in a hot tub.
The only mistake we had was taking a taxi from town, ($165 30 min mistake).
We got there early and ate at the restaurant, then we were escorted in our private room, with a wooden tub full of warm beer. There is a tap next to it, so you can sip on a beer while soaking.
Then there is a relax room, so we relaxed for 20 min, then went outside to the outdoor hot tubs. Not geothermal, so not smelly..
We had a great experience, the staff was lovely and most helpful.
Surprised this place is not that well known yet. Take your rental car... you won't drink that much...

This brewery/brewpub is in a stunning location. The restaurant and tasting room are sleek and chic, with picture windows onto the great view, and showcasing local artists on the walls.

We tried a lineup of beers which were good, but not outstanding. The best was the dark lager (Schwarzbier) which was nicely balanced with subtle notes of dark fruit and roasted malt. Yum!!

As two women who know a bit about beer and were eager to try Kaldi's lineup, we felt a bit blown off by the server behind the bar who didn't seem interested in explaining the beers to us and focused his attention on the male customers.

Wow, what a fantastic Micro Brewery this is. Comes with a great family story and a is a growing industry for a small town. The beer is GREAT. I preferred the Pilsner but they have a great range and do seasonal specials. Well worth a stop.
