Short visit to learn about the brewery & the beers. Very informative & a couple of nice beers to try!

We stopped by the brewery after leaving the beer spa to grab a different size t-shirt that the beer spa didn't have. We accidentally interrupted a tour (sorry!) but we were sent upstairs to be greeted by one of the owners. She was extremely welcoming...More

Super brewery tour. Very friendly and knowledgeable, also great stories. They even give the driver two take home beers and a glass for not drinking. Definitely a positive experience, especially after finding out that you can't tour Einstock (ran by Coca Cola now).

We visited Kaldi brewery as part of a beer spa package but with an interest in beer this was a fascinating insight into not only micro-brewing in Iceland but also about the culture and background to brewing and alcohol promotion in the country. In simple...More

This brewery/brewpub is in a stunning location. The restaurant and tasting room are sleek and chic, with picture windows onto the great view, and showcasing local artists on the walls. We tried a lineup of beers which were good, but not outstanding. The best was...More

This family run micro brewery is about 30 minute drive north of Akureyri, outside the small village of Arskogssandur. Our Intrepid guide arranged the tour the day before as an add-on and what a great experience it was. Siggi Olafsson the son of the entrepreneurial...More
