Kaldi is the first micro brewery in Iceland, opened in 2006. It's a small family business in the North of Iceland. We have tours every hour from 11am-15pm, monday-friday. You can also call or email us for other times.
We stopped by the brewery after leaving the beer spa to grab a different size t-shirt that the beer spa didn't have. We accidentally interrupted a tour (sorry!) but we were sent upstairs to be greeted by one of the owners. She was extremely welcoming...More
Super brewery tour. Very friendly and knowledgeable, also great stories. They even give the driver two take home beers and a glass for not drinking. Definitely a positive experience, especially after finding out that you can't tour Einstock (ran by Coca Cola now).
We loved the location, the tour, the guide and of course the beer!
Had only a group of 7 people, so the tour was very comfortable, the guide explained everything to us, answered every question and the beers we tried were tasty.

This family run micro brewery is about 30 minute drive north of Akureyri, outside the small village of Arskogssandur. Our Intrepid guide arranged the tour the day before as an add-on and what a great experience it was.
