We left Valentia island and negotiated the skellig way coastal road and got to the car park which has toilet facilities next to the beach.

We went down to the beach when it was raining and had a very pleasant stroll along the sand. For times when there is more sunshine, the beach has a full lifeguard service. There is a good sized car park and a nearby cafe.
What a beautiful beach! In pristine condition. The perfect spot for a leg stretch during travels in Kerry. It was really peaceful when we visited on a Saturday. There was a shop there too selling all sorts which was handy.
