This was my favourite beach in kerry. The water was great for younger kids, the car park was large, and the little shop on the beachfront was very handy for snacks and ice cream.

Very nice beach! You are nearly alone there (june) and the view towards the castle and across the bay is stunning. Perfect for walking but also bathing if the weather permits.

We went down to the beach when it was raining and had a very pleasant stroll along the sand. For times when there is more sunshine, the beach has a full lifeguard service. There is a good sized car park and a nearby cafe.

What a beautiful beach! In pristine condition. The perfect spot for a leg stretch during travels in Kerry. It was really peaceful when we visited on a Saturday. There was a shop there too selling all sorts which was handy.

The beach at Ballinskelligs is one of my favorite walks, anywhere. Partly it is because this land has always been held sacred and there is so much heart in the land and the people. Partly it is because hte bay gentles wind and water. The...More

Ballinskelligs is a hidden gem, just off the main Ring of Kerry. The beach is beautiful, and very safe. The waves are very small (no surfing here!), and the bay is sheltered. There is a life guard on duty in the Summer. There is scar...More
