The best gift shop in Clare
Nov 2021 • Couples
WE are blessed to be able to visit the Rock Shop regularly. Their lovely shop is always so well stocked. There's a brilliant range of temptations- including the coffee shop cakes. Its a first stop for presents- wish I had better words to describe the array- just super for all ages. Ive got garden stuff , kitchen stuff, jewellry, fun things- just great array.

No covid cert compliance
Oct 2021 • Family
We were not asked for a vaccination cert which was worrying as it’s an indoor cafe. Very busy with slow service. Won’t be returning

Good variety of souvenirs and friendly staff. We stopped here on way to the Cliffs of Moher. We got something for everyone at home!

Our fun adventure in the Rock Shop.
Aug 2021 • Family
It was very fun looking at all the cool fossils, crystals, rocks, gifts, jewelry, toys AND the giant cave bear skeleton.
We picked up a good few nice pieces for ourselves and for family.

Brilliant

This was a brilliant experience. Fabulous shop to look around. Everyone was so helpful. Went for coffee - delicious. Best coffee around this area. Treated all of us to ice cream. Everyone was so helpful, polite and could not do enough for us. I would definitely recommend the rock cafe for food and drinks.

Expected more...
Aug 2020
The sign outside says 'The Story of Liscannor Stone' so we were expecting maybe an exhibition or interactive presentation - but its basically just a gift shop!? There are some interesting stones and fossils for sale but I certainly didn't see any 'story' here. We had coffee and cake from the coffee shop on site and that was fine and there is some nice seating outside.

Cute bits for the home
Aug 2020 • Family
Popped in here a couple of times during our week in Lahinch. Its the type of shop where you'd lose an hour just looking at everything. I picked up some crystals, shark tooth & dinosaur bone for my son, magnet, nice marble bowl, lovely giraffe set & then the following day I had to return with the kids as they wanted to see the bones & teeth etc

All sorts of nice stuff you don't need (but want) in here
Sep 2019
After seeing the Cliffs of Moher, we stopped at the Liscannor Rock Shop before continuing along our way. There are all sorts of nice objects in here made of rocks (or even just rocks themselves, in all sorts of shapes and textures). It's really interesting just to see what they have, and we also ended up buying some items as souvenirs to bring back home for family and friends. Worth a stop.

Hygiene is not up to Covid standard!
Jul 2020 • Friends
The Rock Shop is fabulous, a must see for anyone visiting Liscannor/Lahinch and has been a constant in my life for the last 15+ years.
However, unfortunately, the cafe side has really gone downhill recentl due to it's hygiene. The cutlery, milk and preserves are left in communal baskets/jugs which require each individual to touch them.. this is not ideal considering we are trying to prevent the Covid virus and the trays are dirty.
The standard of hygiene is very much an issue and now more so than ever!

Saying that, with a few simple tweaks, they would quickly regain their appeal whilst simultaneously, keep their customers safe.
