Lovely local hike not too far from Waterford. Not too difficult at all as there is a gravel track most of the way if you want. But there is a slightly steeper path you can veer up when you're near the top if you want a bit of a challenge.
In winter time you might need boots to get to the cross as can be quite marshy, but most of the time any pair of runners will do. Absolutely magnificent view at the top, you would be up and down in less than 2 hours.
Easy to get to, just follow Google maps for Tory Hill car park and you're good to go

Great place to get plenty of fresh country air. When our group arrived some of us were feeling the hangover from last night. After four hours in the hills our sickness was cured. The landscape around here is beautiful. i would recommend wearing boots and winter clothes. Hope to return for summer BBQ

Lovely easy hike especially on the green trail, which gets you almost the top. Last 500 meters of so to the cross is more tricky terrain which would require hiking boots. Great place to walk dogs as well. Good views as well.

Nice easy climb to the summit. Excellent views depending on the weather. 960ft above sea level. Ideal for morning/afternoon stroll.

Lovely hike. Relatively straight forward though I found a small part of it a bit more challenging though very doable. Though it's not very high there are great views on top on a clear day. Definitely worth the trek.

great Hike with our striders walking group. We are a group of cancer survivors and this was a triumph to complete for many of the group. Blessed with a sunny day and great views

walked up here on New Years Day to clear the cobwebs..what a way to do it, stunning views in all directions. It is called Sliabh Cruinn which means round hill and you certainly can walk around it in a loop and take it different views in all directions. if you don't want to retrace your steps back around the forest trail road , bring sturdy hiking boots to come back down the side path which is trickier to navigate and not suitable for child buggies, otherwise a perfect location for families

This hill can be climbed using the rough road used by Coillte, making it suitable for most abilities. The views are stunning and there's lots of flora and fauna to be enjoyed. The forestry has been cleared at the higher levels. There is a parking area for 5/6 cars. Signage from Mullinavat is non-existent, ask for directions in the village.

I have taken the trailhead to the top of Tory Hill on many occasions and keep promising myself to be up there at sunset sometime to take some photos. The cross on the summit was raised in the Marion year and the first Sunday in July sees the yearly pattern to the top.
