This is a pretty cool museum with lots of little different artefacts from the history of the island. There are some signs talking about the history but they're limited.
A lot of the display cases need a really good clean. They're quite dusty to the point you can barely see inside them.
Nice way to spend 45 minutes or so, and good value for 20,000 dong.
It's next door to a pearl/ jewellery shop. Anyone complaining it's just a shop was too lazy to walk another ten metres to see what was in the adjacent (and connected) building.
Great views from the rooftop as well!

It's now 50,000 dong. Friendly lady greeted us and showed us the tour route, telling us that the museum has 5 levels. Glass display cases are still dusty, as mentioned by the other reviewers. Nice view from the rooftop. We were the only visitors at around 2pm.

Just a souvenir shop with some jewelry that you can buy. Definitely not worth a visit.
It seems they used to have a museum but it's all closed and empty.

Entry ticket is only 20.000 and that is a good representation of what you can expect inside.
The glass displays are so dirty that it is very difficult to see what is inside.
It would be great if this place would have a proper renovation! The island needs an attraction like this!

My friend and I would say this is a very interesting museum to be visited while in Phu Quoc. We spent almost an hour plus in this museum.
The entrance fee was VND20,000 per pax.
It tells about how Phu Quoc was ruled decades ago, artefacts, some ancient items.

A lovely building housing one mans collection of things phu quoc related. From finds of shipwrecks and archeology items and some amazing shell furniture it's an interesting way to pass a couple of hours for 20d entrance fee. Great views from the roof

A nice bit of Phu Quoc history with sufficient English labels. At only 20,000 do g it would be hard to quibble about the cost. Don’t miss going to all the levels, just keep fo,lowing the “pathway” signs up about 6 floors. Great view from the top, you do t appreciate the diversity and beauty of the forest right here in town until you get this perspective.
