Crazy place, big crowds and very loud. I guess its a typical asian market where you can eat, drinks, shop, and see some crazy things like kids playing with snakes and such...
There are so many fresh fish stalls with their own restaurant tables too but we didn't eat here. We did try the street food pancakes and they were delicious.
If you are here for shopping, pearl prices differ from the beginning to the end of the market so ask everywhere and shop somewhere at the middle.

The night market is always recommended by the locals but it’s pretty small.

Try the coconut ice cream. Most vendors provide samples. I was hooked when I tried it.

The seafood markets vary and have certain deals. Be cautious of the “market price” and who provides the price. One worker may say one thing and another may say another price. Price creep seems to be a common tactic in the fish market business.

We didn’t spend long wandering the market but stopped at one of the large restaurants for some beers and food. The grilled squid was really good, with various sauces for dipping. The fish with mango was tasty but very small and overpriced. In fact, everything was overpriced so I only recommend it for the experience - and the market’s one of the only places with any life at the moment! You can go and pick your fresh shellfish from the buckets and tanks, but we didn’t do that (and don’t like lobster enough to pay 1m VND) - give it a go if you’re adventurous and money no object though!

Not much to do in Phu Quoc when the sun goes down but everyone tells you to visit the night market. it is a poor show with loads of sea creatures in tanks awaiting their death. Of course there are tourist shops and stalls willing to rip off any tourist that comes their way, but in fairness they do not pressurise you. The stuff they sell are Tat to must of us but the the Russians love it and pay the full price and I guess that what floates their reason for being there. It is the same old stuff stall after stall with a bar or restaurant selling you almost dead sea creatures for big bucks. However the experience was worthwhile.....

A variety of cheap clothes, street food and seafood can be found along this 300 meters walking street. This is certainly a great place to get entertained if you need buying, eating and dining altogether. Food are really cheap with reasonable price, though the hygiene condition cannot be compared to that in the hotel (well at least we didn’t get stomachache after all haha).

Other than the street snacks, local Vietnamese restaurants for famous Pho noodle can also be found near the night market, with several little marts selling daily necessities and different types of souvenirs.

Needless to worry about the transport, as groups of taxi drivers will be waiting for you outside the night market entrance. All in all, this is a must-visit place at night on the island, but get prepared it will be crowded and packed with lots of people (always mind your personal belongings during visiting).

It’s def worth a walk through. You may want to go on the early side because it gets very busy after 7. Lots of interesting food items to see even if you’re too afraid to eat them. Make sure and haggle tho they always price high and you can always talk them down

This is a night market. If you are there several days (and nights), you could try to go there once for dinner as you will get a lot of choices. We had good sea food which was good. It feels very touristy though and is fairly pricey for Vietnam.

Full and stall people offering tastes of nuts and when you’re not doing this there is the constant banging of wall paper scrapers of the folding ice cream stalls, all the stalls are very repetitive and the food is fish. We did have a meal there but the ice cream stall next to us constantly banging his blades for business and couldn’t wait to get away from the noise. Good for an hour or so. Found a craft beer place within the market area. Bought nothing that I couldn’t get in other places around Vietnam

Smelly and dirty market with a few decent restaurants in it. The market itself is ok but its quite troublesome with all the mopeds driving inside the market where everybody walks. Might be worth a visit one time but not much to see really.. they really need to so something about the problem with the traffic, it’s dangerous to get to and from the market because there is no place to safely cross the streets.
