We went on the 3 hour wildlife trip in August with our three children (11, 13, 15) with the new owner Sean and wildlife guide Nadia. We had a brilliant afternoon. Sean and Nadia were really friendly and knowledgeable. The scenery was stunning and we saw loads of wildlife including white-tailed eagles, golden eagle, seals, deer, ospreys and porpoise. The visit to the whirlpool area was really exciting. The boat only takes 10 or so people which makes a lovely experience. We highly recommend this trip - it was one of the highlights of our holiday.

We went on the 3 hour wildlife trip with the new owners who had only taken over 2 weeks earlier. There were 9 of us in the group including children and we had a lovely time. Crew were friendly and informative and the trip was full of lovely views and wildlife.

If you only do one boat trip on your holiday, make it this one. 2 hour Corryvreckan and wildlife cruise. Very humorous and knowledgeable captain. Scenery was spectacular. Which was helped by the fantastic weather. Even though we only saw porpoise(in the distance), a few seals, and some birds, it didn't lessen the enjoyment. The whirlpool was quiet during our trip, but we will definitely be back to experience some bigger tides in the spring. Great value for money.

Having waited since 1987 to actually visit the Corryvreckan I was not disappointed by the experience. The wildlife was also fantastic. It was a truly memorable experience. As for our skipper perhaps we got him on a bad day.I’m not sure he’s in the right job. Having spent £110 on the trip and run a business through COVID I don’t want to hear from the skipper that he’s running the trip at a loss due to COVID or that he had to cancel the trip earlier in the day because of an engine fault or that his bow thruster is broken.I just want to relax and gain a bit of knowledge. My wife who was also on the trip is a doctor had worked non stop for 14 months -yup it’s been tough for us all. We don’t want to be referred to as from South of the Border (we were the only non Scots present and actually Welsh but the skipper didn’t bother to find out) and by implication stupid. Or that we are Townies and sit on the side of the boat nearest the pontoon because we are scared - I’m an experienced yachtsman and diver and live in the countryside having been brought up on the coast! It wasn’t a joke it was just judgmental and rude. A suggestion - make an effort to get to know your passengers and engage with them.Tell a story and use a microphone.
