I am a qualified Advanced Open Water PADI diver and wanted to have a week diving in Barbados on my own before my family arrived from the UK. I booked with Dave via email and he looked after me so well, picking me up from my hotel and making me feel very welcome. Some days it was just me and Dave diving and other days some other locals joined us to go spear fishing for Lion fish which was interesting to see. The kit was fully maintained and I felt safe at all times. The diving was amazing with most dives between 15 and 25 meters on reefs or wrecks just offshore accessed by Dave's boat. I have dived in the Red Sea and the Barrier Reef and this was definitely as good, perhaps better in terms of wildlife seen. I saw Mantas, Sting and Eagle Rays on a daily basis and turtles gliding beautifully through the water or sleeping on the bottom. The tropical fish were abundant and the water temperature was such that only a small wetsuit was required. There are other big hotel based dive outfits along the coast but if you want a well planned, relaxed and safe dive experience with a local dive master who knows his trade there can be no better than Dave at Seahorse Divers.

I don’t normally take the time to write a review, but it is very rare to find people in the world which instantly make you feel welcome and part of the dive team! I read many trip advisor reviews before choosing and I can assure you, if you’re like me - you need to look no further and book with them! This is a genuine review :) All in all, I would thoroughly recommend Dave (Chucky) to anyone who wants that personal touch. I booked six (which turned into 8) mornings of dives with Dave during my recent trip to Barbados. From the first email requesting dives to getting picked up and dropped at my hotel at the end of each day, the whole experience was flawless. Deena was very helpful when booking the dives and at the helm Captain Sean was superb. The diving itself was awesome and relaxing, I felt safe and looked after at all times. The equipment was excellent, the dives themselves were fantastic - turtles, seahorses, moray eels, shipwrecks and much more. Dave and Captain Sean were great company from start to finish. Absolute professionals! I had a wonderful time with the whole team and hope that you do to! PS. The video footage I received from each dive is simply amazing……thank you for the memories.

My partner and I dived with David at the beginning of September. We thoroughly enjoyed all of our fours dives with him. We found that all dives were extremely personal as he only dives with small groups (just the two of us, himself and the boat captain went out). We felt very safe and his knowledge of the local marine life was second to none. We would recommend this diving school to anyone and would dive with them again if we ever come back to Barbados. P.s. we saw turtles on every dive with him at four different locations.

I had an amazing morning/afternoon with David and Shaun they were both great company on the boat, and I never felt unsafe or uneasy with David on the dives. I would recommend Seahorse divers to all divers who are looking for a fun, private and safe dive in Barbados.
