2nd time in Barbados and this remains one of our favourite beaches. Great for swimming, shade under the trees, picnic benches, snack van, toilet block / showers. Love it!

One of the real gems of the south coast. Lot of Casuarina trees to provide shade for those just off the plane and not used to the sun. Lots of chairs and umbrellas fro rent (even hammocks). Clean washrooms, change rooms and showers Best of...More

Two sides to this beach. This is known as the locals beach. Great atmosphere with option to buy food and drinks.

Great location, tree lined so plenty of shade and usually very quiet. The only time it seems to get busy is early in the morning when many of the locals use it for swimming and exercise. Only one small shack type place to get food...More

Miami Beach is such a nice size for walking in the morning or enjoying the surf in the afternoon. It has some lovely shade for lounging and is not in a busy part of the island.

Wonderful beach to have an outing with lots of benches, changing facilities and canteen onsite. It is divided in 2 sections, one for the novice swimmer and another section for the seasoned swimmer. Lots of parking with a beach ranger and lifeguard present.

My favourite beach it has all you need - waves, sand sun, trees providing shade and a great snack van and nearby WC and showers.

Clear blue waters, soft sand and areas with shade. Perfect spot to spend a few hours especially if you bring a couple of cold beers with you.
