2 or 3 years since our last visit . Had been for a short walk in the Inshriach Forest at Uath Lochlan and needed a lunch . Easily decided to revisit Loch Insh for lunch and a laugh at the sailboarders falling off . Too windy for the Sailboarders but lunch was excellent again . Large menu ranging from soup... More

Well I had a great time at loch Insh, Where to start well the staff are warm and friendly nothing is too much trouble for them. I had every confidence in their ability to look after us on the water while we were sailing. Example last Sunday I had an equipment failure on my boat, when I called for help... More

Every year when we stay in Aviemore we come for one evening dinner during the week. We have been doing this for twenty years. The food is excellent and sunset over Loch Insh is out of this world. We have not used the sports facilities but they look excellent.

We had James for a 2 hour ski lesson in the Easter holidays. He was amazing and even though we were beginners, by the end we could ski down the dry ski slope. It was great fun and I would recommend to anyone hoping to improve their skiing. Thanks Loch Inch! Christina age 13

We stopped off at Loch Insh on our way up to Wick, as it'd come recommended. It was a nice little break in our journey. Views are lovely, service was excellent and the sandwiches were fab. Highly recommend the open smoked salmon sandwich... Proper yumsome and so fresh. Cute cabin like interior to look out over the loch.

This is a great place to stop for a quick bite with the family. The restaurant is in a lodge style with exposed timber interior and has lovely views out across the loch. The food is simple, hearty, tasty and inexpensive! Soups, sandwiches, baked potatoes and home made tray bakes and scones. Great play area for the kids out back... More
