I enjoy doing research so had read the glowing reviews about Usa Thai Silk, but when we visited two days ago, we were stunned at the incredible selection of silk, both hand and machine made. I wanted a jacket made so we talked through fabrics and styles before settling on a beautiful hand made silk. Tonight Usa and Nik brought the finished jacket to my hotel and - I have to say, it is more perfect than I could have imagined.
I can’t thank them enough. The level of workmanship is outstanding, the fabric, stunning - and I have a wonderful garment to remind me of this incredible holiday.
Make the trip up to see them. You simply will not get better from anywhere.

I googled for silk shop in Samui and found this Thaisilk shop in Menam. I stitched 1 line pants and 1 silk pants and they turned out so beautiful and perfect without any alteration needed during fitting.
Both Usa and Nick (the owners) are wonderful and friendly, and i rated their services as 10/10. Usa (the wife) knew exactly what and how I needed my pants to be. Before leaving Samui i stitched 3 blouses and another pants. They will send it to me via postage.

I have spent a lot of time in Thailand and have tried out many different tailors only to be disappointed with quality... But not with Usa & Nick!!!
Usa has a reputation in Samui for being the best. I have shirts that they made 5 years ago, that i wear regularly and they still look brand new!
Usa and Nick are honest and hardworking people who bend over backwards to please their clients with very competitive prices.
I rate this tailor a solid 10/10

This wonderful shop is a local treasure, for more than 30 years providing gorgeous Thai silk fabrics and custom outfits for locals and visitors alike. Master seamstress and owner Usa can create any outfit you like, whether copying something you have already or making it new from a photo or drawing--you can chat with her and she will help you get your ideal. She is extremely detail-oriented and professional, She and her husband Nick take real pride in their work and they have a devoted international clientele,. She made me three lovely blouses in exquisite Thai silk and 2 pairs of trousers...they fit perfectly. She also made a short-sleeved printed silk shirt for my husband. She personally delivered the items to our hotel and made sure they fit properly. They source pure Thai silk from all over the islands and mainland, sourcing everything from traditional hand-woven silk Ikats to modern prints. When in Samui we visit USA Thai Silk to get measured for clothes for my wife and I. USA and Nick are so friendly and the Thai silk clothing is beautiful and well made. My wife had her wedding dress made here two years ago and she looked stunning on the day. We love visiting here. Their Facebook page has all the examples of USA's abilities.

I am customer of USA (its nothing with America, its the name of the Tailor) since over 10 years. She is tailoring not only for Tourists, also for Thaibussinesspeople and this is one of the greatest compliments at this bussiness.
I always get a really wonderful work and I tried a lot of Tailors in Thailand. I you want to get a really good tailorwork from a Thaifamily then is this the best adress in Samui.

Visited USAThai Silk while on a cruise stop over in Koh Samui we were considering finding a place to make a silk suit for my wife. Walking around Nathon we came to USA Thai Silk shop which attracted us with the many racks of silk cloth bolts. We discussed a dress with the owner (Nicky) who also called his wife(Usa) from their second store in Maenam and she came in 20 minutes. It turns out she spent time in Paris as a designer and she took the measurements and decided with my wife on colors and design. She had a dress, pants, top shell and Jacket made. I also had a couple of shirts and a pair of pants made. We couldn't return for additional fittings so the clothing was shipped to us in the states. Everything arrived in about the timeframe that they suggested to us. Everything fit nicely.
There seemed to be extra touches that we had not discussed such as discreet zippers and elastic to make it easy.
When we return to Koh Samui I will definitely stop at USA Thai Silk

Nick and his wife, Usa, run two shops in Koh Samui. Both of them are very friendly and likeable tailors and are extremely efficient and skilled in their work.
My wife and I purchased a few items from them on a visit from our resort. We were reluctant to go to Nathon again for the fitting, so Nick and his wife agreed to visit us at the resort and do the fitting there.
The fitting in the end was unnecessary given the garments were perfectly fitted.
They have an online presence on facebook and a website, so they're easy to check out and you can order from them overseas.
Given the limited marketing they have rightfully earned their reputation by word of mouth. Definitely would recommend and buy again.
