Massive herd of jellyfish occupied the water during our visit, making the water inaccessible. Seems like this is not a normal occurance, but definitely something to ask about beforehand because it really limits what you can do. There is very little shade or flat areas...More

The water was so clear (and cold) making for a wonderful (albeit quick) swim. Not many people here at all and by sun down everyone had gone. Lovely spot for a quiet dip.

Amazing views and stunning water when you get down there, but if you plan on driving, be warned the roads are veryyyy bad. If walking, it's quite out of the way from everything.

Short walk from the road, this lovely hidden cove is a belter of a spot for a salt water swim. 2 of our party reported lovely safe swimming on an otherwise windy day (usual cautions apply). Great spot for a dip and there are lovely...More

It is worth the effort to walk from the car park and go down the stairs. After a little effort you will find this gem with blue and gushing waters in the canyon. A good place to swim in the summer.

A bit off the tourist trail as there is quite a bit of walking to get to it. You need to walk down quite a few steps but once there you have a wonderful view along a valley. You can also appreciate the sound of...More

The canyon is a lovely spot. Beautiful seawater below steep austere walls. A popular spot for locals to sun and swim. There aren't any facilities for swimming, but everyone seems OK with folks just leaving their dry clothes here and there on the small rocky...More

A road from the main square in the village of Ghasri leads to this incredibly beautiful valley called Weid il Ghasri. As you progress along it you pass some wonderul traditional farmhouses and come to beautiful small chapel dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. The...More

Wied il-Ghasri is a secluded inlet with a tiny pebbly beach wedged between high cliffs. The view of the valley from the top of the cliffs is stunning. The outstanding natural beauty of this place will blow you away. Take your time, it’s a beautiful...More

This one is so beautiful. One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. We walked from Marsalforn in 32degrees without shadow but with comfy shoes and swimming stops inbetween and it was absolutely worth it so we did it twice. We snorkeled and...More

It is awkward to get to, bicycles you can hire, quad bike hire, or even a return journey taxi, none are expensive. But make sure you go !
